We have been divided to be conquered. I made a deal to save Imani’s life….. but it means mine is over. And I would it again in a heartbeat if it means she is safe from the Chancellor. How do tell the person you love most in the world, you lost their family……I’m alone. In the most inhospitable place to ever exist. Surrounded by exiled men. The rebellion has grown, the days dwindle, the end feels like is barreling toward us. Everything we thought we knew unravels before our eyes.
ARC Review ✨️ ☆Amazing ending♡ I couldn't think of a better way to end this series. The author did such a beautiful job at creating this dystopian fantasy, and I loved each of the four 4 books so much. I'm going to miss these characters 😢 they were so fun and so easy to get attached to🖤 I loved how it was multiple pov, so it was like we got to wrap up each characters story one last time!
Rise from Ruin by R M Muller A great ending to the Sands of Ruin series, this is book 4, the author wraps up the relationships that have been developed and takes us on another journey as the characters rush to right the world and get the dial working properly again to reduce the wild weather the Chancellor has messed with. The story is told by several of the characters point of view I really liked the ending and the epilogue, I found that this novel wasn't as fast paced as the others and didn't pull me in like the first three, but still a great read Looking for to the next series that this fabulous author creates
This was a sensational ending to an epic dystopian series. I can't believe it's over. I laughed, I cried, I got so lost in this world. If you haven't read the sands of ruin series yet you need to. RM Muller does a fantastic job of transporting us to this mystical fantastical. I have been reading since the book 1 release and I can't believe it's over.
Thank you RM Muller for taking us on this amazing journey💜
Rise from Ruins book 4 in the Sand of Ruin series. What a great ending to the series.I enjoyed following the story line and character build up of Imani, Harm, Catori and Mason.
RM Muller wrapped up each of there storylines nicely in this book. It also sounds like there is going to be a spin off or new series coming.
Once again this author broke me but healed some wounds. Last book in the series and they finally get freedom. This story kept me captivated and wanting more. I cried a little bit through this book especially when you love a character so much. The epilogue was everything and I can’t wait for the next series! Honestly a great last installment!
I can't believe the journey is over (for now)! What an incredible series. Absolutely 5 🌟 to the amazing R.M. Muller! I do believe I'll have to rank these books in my favorites! The concluding journey we face with our heroes has me on the edge of my seat! (Currently awake at 4am because I just couldn't stop reading!!). This story brings us beautiful moments of family love, redemption, sacrifice, couples you root for, enemies you can truly hate, and so much more. That ending though!! I'm excited for this next series!
I highly recommend delving into the journey of Harm, Imani, Mason, Catori, and so many more. You won't be disappointed in this incredible series.
I'm trying to find the words for this review. I am still processing everything. If you have not started this series, you need too. I have laughed, cried, yelled, and shouted "NO!" too many times to count. I have been completely lost in this world for almost a year now. Harm and Imani's love story is one of my favorites. Thank you RM for this beautiful, powerful, and daunting story.
I’ve been so involved with this series and I’m so happy I got the happy ending they all deserved! This whole book had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down. There is so much character growth for each individual, but growth for the entire family. I highly recommend this whole series to anyone who is interested in a dystopian story line with a lot of action and romance.
What an amazing ending to this series! I would recommend to anyone looking for a dystopian series to get fully immersed in. I fell in love with the characters and their stories and can’t wait to see what RM Muller does next!
The epic conclusion to this four book series was fast-paced, action packed and ends with the start of a new spinoff. I was completely blindsided by the twist at the end but was happy to finally have a compelling conclusion to this dystopian series along with happy ever-afters for our favorite characters. I will say I found some aspects a little unrealistic such as how many lived, and I totally understood the found-family aspect but sometimes it felt a little forced and over-explained instead of letting the interactions stand for themselves. Additionally I found myself confused a few times with how many POVs we went through, so I wasn’t sure who was talking sometimes. I didn’t find shifting POVs that often or with so many people was especially necessary because we didn’t see a lot of revealed backgrounds or too much internal thinking, instead it just seemed to be cycling through POVs for the sake of it. There was more spice in this book than previous ones, so if you’re into that you’ll be happier, but otherwise I found the plot more compelling than some of the relationships, some of which didn’t feel earned or necessary people I’d be rooting for, although I know that was a huge factor of motivations in this series.
Ultimately, I recommend this series if you want a unique dystopian story that follows multiple characters and their POVs. The overarching plot was really interesting and I think the new spinoff can be the start of something incredible! Ultimately, thank you so much R.M Muller for providing ARCs for all four books for me, it’s been so fun being a part of your team and getting to see the series from start to finish!
This is the ending that not only the readers, but the characters deserve. Yet again, the plot is full of jeopardy and I was so worried about our friends now the whole time. As with the first three books, the characters remained dynamic. Their development from book to this final book never stops. In so many ways, these guys have grown. Through loss and love their bond really does become extraordinary. Some really heart wrenching moments. Some beautiful moments which will leave you with tears in your eyes.
This series is incredible. If you like An Ember in the Ashes, divergent or even the hunger games, this will be for you. Moreover any dystopian YA readers, this has your name on it too!
I can't fully do justice to this series. The writing, the characters and absolutely everything about this series make it so special. I will miss these characters but I'm so glad to have shared their journey.
RM Muller, thank you so much for a stunning series. It is an absolutely top class series. Absolutely exceptional, a class of it's own
Great ending to a great series! Rise from Ruin was full of action, angst, spice and even redemption.
It was great to read how Harm’s, Imani’s, Mason’s and Catori’s, amongst others, stories ended. Though we lost too many great characters along the way, it was good to see their stories to their conclusions.
A great dystopian book, with a totalitarian regime, this book can push a lot of buttons. If you like to read about oppressed people, and their will to rebel and fight back, this is the series for you. You’ll also get found family, slow burn romance, spice, lots of action, and characters you love. Totally recommend.
I received an advance reader copy from the author, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is the last book in the Sands of Ruin series. This was a thrilling ending to an amazing series. The author once again takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I was on the edge of my seat through the entire book silently, pleading with the author to finally give these characters the ending they deserve. I absolutely love the bond the main characters have, the lengths they will go through to protect their own. Every book draws you further into their dystopian world.
On a sidenote, I am thrilled Mason was finally redeemed and got his HEA. I knew from the beginning there had to be more to this character.
Found family is such a powerful thing. We have lovers and found siblings across three sectors who fight to return to each other. We have families that have struggled to be together come back to each other and through it all everyone keeps moving forward. Thick and thin, good and bad, love and hate you get to experience it all in this last installment. This book was a lot of romance and spice-maybe more than was needed as I personally would have enjoyed knowing more about the mountain side and the savages as well as watching how the newest romance develops and/or more about Marshall. The epilogue is short and sweet and full of hints as to what comes next! I am definitely in for the long haul as I love this authors writing and the world she has created! Highly recommended!!
Oh my gosh! I am at a loss for words! An absolutely STUNNING end to the series that will leave so satisfied but also dying for more. The plot continued to be spectacular and the characters were so incredibly unique. I love a good redemption arc and R.M. Muller did this one flawlessly! This one was a little more spicy than the previous three, and a trigger warning for attempted SA. I still adore Harm and Imani but dang, the other couples sure gave them a run for their money. I cannot wait to see what comes next and I hope this isn’t the last we see of these amazing characters!!!
This series has my heart!🥰😩 Its soooo good!!! The way the author really gives you the chance to see all the different perspectives and romances makes me so incredibly happy!! And although all the characters were wonderful to me, Catori & Mason forever have my heart🖤🖤🖤 really sad that this series has come to an end but the way the author ended this beautiful series made me feel so happy and fulfilled. I can't wait to see what the author has on store for us next!!😄✨
I’m really sad this is the end of a fantastic series but really glad I got to enjoy this fast paced, electric finish. It was a great read and epic character development. I’ve always been a fan of multiple POVs and this is no exception. Everything was concluded in a way that felt complete and yet there is a sliver of an opening for maybe some more! I love this world and don’t want to leave ever!
I was surprised by a few things and I real liked the ending. It seems like it was set up for a spin-off series so I’m excited to see how that will go!! If you like a good dystopian, chosen one series, I would definitely start with Sands of Ruin!
Well... I didn't expect that ending... at least the ending after the ending that is expected. Very interesting. R.M. Muller has set up her world and I'm sure she has many stories just waiting to be fully written.
Book 4 and the final book of this series. It was wrapped up beautifully with all the characters and there story line. Sad to see them go but loved the way it was ended
