This was a pretty good read: smooth, full of vibrant description, and nicely paced. As a stand-alone, you're immersed in some great world-building, at times going pretty deep into some diplomatic dealings between the two different elves' lineage/species, which lends to their rather entertaining exchange. Not being a stranger to this type of content, overall, I felt the encounter itself had some rockiness with pacing and word usage that could have been combed out a bit- standard things that I encounter in this genre. But it wasn't too distracting. I do wish the interaction between the two main characters had happened sooner because it took a while to get there and for the exchange to have taken its time.

Well, that was fun! A bit much lore drop for an erotic short, but I did enjoy the story about the Sphere of Teneb in the beginning — had a kind of Lovecraftian feel to it, I liked that.

I received an e-ARC of this book. I am leaving a review voluntarily, and it is my honest opinion.

The spice itself took a bit long to start but it was tons of fun tbh. Basically an erotic battle for power with a ton of leg/foot/stocking kink and spicy bodily fluid, if you catch my drift. If you're into that sort of thing, this could be for you.

Absolutely amazing!!! Only wished it was longer, I didn't want it to end. detailed, exciting well written short story. Likeable characters. Hot and steamy read.
