Sierra returns to her pack when her mother dies even though she will run into her ex. On her way to her new job, she runs into something and looks up and sees Jake her ex and the pack Alpha. She can see hate in his eyes and doesn't know why or what she did to deserve it. When Jake's father is killed Sierra's scent is all over him and the rooms. He goes into her work and accuses her in front of everyone. Sierra doesn't know what he is talking about but tells him about her day. jake goes to see the Alpha of a rival pack and things don't go as planned. Will they find him? Can Sierra forgive what he did to her?

This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Jake had rejected his fated mate because his father and his best friend told him that she betrayed him. Sierra came back home to be there for her father after the death of her mother. The last thing she wanted to do was rehashed all the hurt and pain from Jake's rejection. When his father is murdered and he accuses her she uncovered secrets that will change both of their lives.

Good fantasy read

I found it to be good read jus not completely my taste I like bit more detail in certain areas but it is good and worth the read
