I always wanted a mantra that I could truly believe and live every day. I spent my first career in journalism, public relations, real estate, and marketing, trying to find my bliss. But other than raising my children, I only had bouts of loving my various careers. It never lasted, but you have to make a living.
Now I'm in my second career, the search has ended. I moved from Chicago to the year-round warmth and gentle breezes of Southwest Florida. And I am doing things I have always wanted to do, just for the love of it. I am writing fictional novels, children's books, short stories, and essays that relate and retell everyday life experiences in a fun-filled read. I am writing, directing, and acting in a series of mystery "whodunnit" plays. And I am continuing my first love of singing. Now, I have a mantra. I am happily living my best life, as I know it.
I write what I feel and whatever pops into my head, across many genres, with a singular identity...I like to tell everyday people's stories through fiction with heart, humor, and humanity, and all the flaws, choices, and discovery that come with their individual journey.
I invite you to come along for the ride with me and meet some interesting people you may know or would like to know. It may even be you. I promise to try to make you laugh, love, and feel, and I will try not to bore you. I would be honored to be your guide. Welcome.

Without a doubt, one of the most charming and delightful books, I’ve read so far this year.
Susanne Rudd Hamilton does a very unique job of pulling the reader into the story. With Irish phrases and costumes and well crafted characters, she makes the book not only enjoyable but very relatable. Many times, it reminded me of my trips to Ireland and has placed a desire in me to return as soon as possible.
I highly recommend this book.

This is the final book in Susan Rudd Hamilton’s Timeless series, and it is an absolutely perfect finale. Jackie is the granddaughter of Peggy and Liam, great granddaughter of Suzy and Red, and Great-great granddaughter of Rose and Mac. When her mother and stepfather are killed in the 911 terrorist attacks in New York, Peggy and Liam take her to the family estate in Ireland to heal and recover from the trauma. Jackie is a strong and feisty as the other women in her family and takes to her ancestral homeland like a duck to water. In Ireland, she finds friends, love and a sense of belonging she never felt in NY.
As usual, Ms. Hamilton has written a beautiful story about family, healing and finding home. The Timeless series is a magnificent read, and this book ends it in the best way possible. We get to catch up with our favorite characters from the past, and the story of the McIntyre/Donegal family comes full circle in a truly entertaining and heartfelt way.

After the tragedy of 911 Jackie Donegal is taken to Ireland by her grandparents, Piggy and Liam to stay at the country estate. Jackie soon meets super cute Aiden and she starts to fall in love with more than Ireland. Since Jackie is young, the love is a first love for her, but the enchantment of everything about Ireland draws her in.
Suzanne Rudd Hamilton writes a dramatic and compelling story that is filled with a lot of backstory (the book is the last in a series). Although the story is stand-alone, she spends a lot of time referring to past characters and ancestors (who do seem to have interesting stories.) I do wish she would not have rushed the ending. There is an epilogue that wraps everything up but I feel like I missed out on some of the development of Jackie’s great romance.

A brilliant finale
Arriving in County Donegal while grieving for her mother, Jackie Donegal finds herself increasingly immersed in her Irish roots, supported by her new friends Kelly and Aidan.
Jackie's legacy is a validation of the deep love demonstrated by her grandparents and great grandparents, as well as her discovery of the strong friendship shared by her ancestral Irish grandmothers, Kathleen and Maggie.
This matriarchal family’s past and present are merged superbly in the finale of this magnificent series. Although each book in the saga features the story of the ‘next’ generation, they can also be enjoyed independently.

A good ending to this series, although it always could continue. I enjoyed the characters and their interactions with each other. There was plenty of detail with regard to people, clothing, buildings and landscapes. I was a bit disappointed in how rushed the ending was after a book that moved slowly. I did like the actual last chapter.

I enjoyed this story. It is well written with good character development. Even though there was tragedy in the beginning, it was a fun story. It was good seeing the close relationships, that helped everyone get through their grief. I really liked how the book ended.
