I loved this book.

I think it is as comprehensive and engaging as it gets, particularly suited for beginners. I am not a real beginner, more like intermediate, but I learnt much all the same.

The book takes a creative and visual approach to teaching HTML, CSS, and web page design; it is project-based, allowing to learn by doing, which I think it is an effective method for grasping new concepts.

I always had issues with web design: I am a backend developer by trade, and when I have to make web interfaces for some side project, I often stumbled. Reading this book - and experimenting in the playground, which is cool - allowed me to get a lot better.

An incredible way to learn a lot of concepts, not just the theory; the author did an excellent job creating a book so that the reader enjoys each chapter.

A full detailed CSS & HTML guide. The learning website is a very good demo either.
