I got this as a free book in exchange for an honest review.
Sorry authors but I really didn't like it. In fact I gave up just shy of half way through. It wasn't at all funny, or thrilling. Much of the dialogue was childish and lame. All of the book was repetitive, painfully so (why I gave up). It may have been leading somewhere but I don't care enough to find out. This is a shame because I do care about the issues raised in the book - very much in fact, which is why I wanted to read it. But, the bits I read at least, just came across as an anti-establishment rant. People are hailing this as an eye-opener. Maybe that's what spoilt it for me as my eyes are quite open thank you. I have been following politics for a long time and have a healthy dose of cynicism about it. The issues are quite complex and competing interests abound. I agree it would read better as non-fiction, then a logical argument could be put without idiotic terrorists (because they're not all dumb), lame racist scenarios or the mind-numbing repetition.
I guess I'm saying that I sort of agree with some/a lot of what is being raised but I'm not 5 years old, convey it to me in an adult way, please.
