Tad Williams' "Das Geheimnis der Großen Schwerter" ist ein episches Meisterwerk der Fantasy!  Für Williams Bücher braucht man etwas Geduld. Langsam und ausführlich baut er seine Welt und Charakter auf, doch später zahlt es sich aus.  Die Welt von Osten Ard ist unglaublich detailliert und lebendig, und die Charaktere sind so gut entwickelt, dass man völlig in ihre Geschichten eintaucht.
Williams’ elegante Sprache und die komplexe Erzählweise machen das Lesen zu einem echten Vergnügen. Diese Serie ist ein Muss für jeden Fan klassischer Fantasy und verdient definitiv fünf Sterne!
