17-year-old Celeana’s mother left years ago. Since that day, dreams of a moonflower consumed her, providing a sanctuary from her despair. The day she stumbled across her moonflower is the same where reality and dream became one. But, Celeana is not the only one who knows of the moonflower. Alex, a young farm-hand from the Hidden Rose Ranch, divulges the truth. Her dreams and this secret meadow are connected to an old curse terrorizing his family for three generations, turning the men of his family into wolves under the moon’s light. Feeling uncontrollably responsible, Celeana decides to join Alex and break the curse while possibly solving the mystery of her mother’s disappearance. Could the two be connected? And if it came down to it, which would Celeana choose? The moonflower that has provided her with a mother's love for years. Or to save the boy she hardly knows?
This book was so amazing and a good read. It takes a little while to build up in the beginning but it does well to really emphasize the mystery and foreshadowing of the story. Every page had me trying to guess the ending, and I was still surprised. The author uses strong imagery and description to tell the story and really immerse you into Celeana's world. The ending came too soon but left me even more excited for her next book
