I found this to be a fairly interesting introductory exploration of various theories and debates relating to Women's studies as a discipline. Includes a variety of interesting discussions ranging from the relationship between theory or academia and feminist objectives to whether a Women's studies department should be a discipline in it's own right or aim to be an interdisciplinary field. Not only are the essays in this book interesting and of merit in their own right, but it proves interesting (sometimes a little depressing though), to analyze which of their goals have and have not been met.
