As the series continues, there are a couple of partial repeat diagnoses, but most of the information is new. A couple of the doctors' pronouns are wrong - using "they" instead of "him" or "her". I keep reading these books because maybe there is a new diagnosis for me. It's sad to read about genetic mutations that are incurable. But there are new treatments for these conditions and maybe hope for some of these people. If you think about how advanced medicine has become in the past 50 years, these diagnoses wouldn't be able to be done, and the patients would have suffered more or passed away sooner.
