本书在2012年5月出版，首印6000册，目前已无库存。本书在刑事诉讼实务界获得了广泛的好评。鉴于新刑事诉讼法将于2013年1月1日正式实施，目前两高三部委正在抓紧制定实施细则。我们拟邀请两位作者就实施细则再进行一次谈话，增补到书稿中去。同时鉴于对首印的装帧设计不很满意，我们准备再版更换封面设计和装帧形式，力争把本书打造成一本可以长销的律师必读书。
