Loved the bit of mystery. Wish there was more interaction between the series and this book. Love getting to know the guys but wish we could have had more interaction between the guys and all together with Zoe. But overall a great book. Love the love by number series!!.

Absolutely ridiculous of course but oh so delicious and fun and damn me I didn’t wish that I was her lol. Get it girlfriend! But poor Angus, though right?! I feel like that boy was such an afterthought. That’s a whole Lotta dick to juggle though I would’ve tried though. Lol.
A decent read, one that will keep you hooked of that there’s no doubt.
I enjoyed the characters and the who premise of the story, the tense and evil aspects of the book were well written and the conclusion to that plot was very well done.
I’ve read quite a few books from this author and have enjoyed them all.
I have had the pleasure of reading many of Nicole Casey’s books. Probably most of them. Why? I adore reading reverse harems, polyamory, and BDSM. In all of Nicole Casey’s books, they are reverse harem- a certain number of men and one woman. Hers also deal with polyamory which means that there are multiple partners for a person. It also usually means multiple bed partners as well. In this particular story, there is light BDSM used.
Zoe- Zoe came back to her home town from North Carolina to right a big story about a serial arsonist.
Paolo-Paolo Russo is the Captain. His wife Katie passed away. He has 2 kids. Paolo saved Zoe on her first night when she passed out.
Cohen- Cohen is one of the more mature, senior members of the fire crew. When Zoe showed up he also seemed to have a grudge against her.
Mattie-Mattie is newer to the fire crew but he brings Zoe around to everyone. He also had a huge crush on her. Surprisingly, he is the last to become intimate out of all the firehouse.
Kit-Kit and his brother, Kieran went to school with Zoe until they left for Dallas where they stayed and were even part of the Dallas Fire but came back to check on the house. Kit is into criminology.
Kiernan -Kiernan and his brother, Kit went to school with Zoe until they left for Dallas where they stayed and were even part of the Dallas Fire but came back to check on the house. Kiernan wants to use his engineering for Urban Development to help the city come back from these fires.
Garrett – Garrett and his brother Gabe bullied Zoe horribly through high school. They apologize and just want to help her solve these arsonist since they in fact are also firefighters. Garrett is also a search and rescue specialist.
Gabe– Gabe and his brother Garrett bullied Zoe horribly through high school. They apologize and just want to help her solve these arsonist since they in fact are also firefighters. Gabe is also a hazmat technician.
Jae-Jae Kim is the driver for the firehouse and one of the super smart engineers. He also makes a mean bowl of spicy ramen.
Angus-Angus Dreyfuss is the in-house EMT.
Tobin-Tobin Hannah is known as the arsonist investigator for the team.
The story is that Zoe has come into town from North Carolina to investigate the serial arsonist case. On her first night she passes out at the scene. Paolo, the chief saves her. Word goes out on there ems services. Mattie is the first to show. He gives her updates. Later she comes to the firehouse and introduces herself to Cohen, who makes it very clear how he feels about journalists. She meets Jae, Tobin, and Angus with Mattie. Mattie had already prepared her about her high school bullies, Garrett and Gabe working at the firehouse but no longer being the same. When Zoe met them again, they offered up only apologies for their bad behavior. In fact after a day with 3 fires and a dinner with the 2 brothers, things get rather passionate and intimate between all 3. Cohen had Zoe all to himself for his first time with Zoe. Jae and Zoe were madly passionate in the station house. At this point, Zoe thinks she is just sleeping with the men but begins to realize she is developing emotional bonds with them. Paolo is next. They get stuck together during a lightning storm. It is the first time Paolo has had any connection since his Katie died and he tells her all about it. In the midst of all of this, she has found these same type of arsonist took place 4 years ago from an older woman. Than she gets help from the town librarian who knew her Mom. When she realized this she has to drive home to her Dad’s. All her guys are worried. While she was home visiting her Dad, she saw Kit and Kieran. They disappeared and moved away to Dallas while she was in middle school but their house was still there. They were her closest friends and they were also firefighters now stationed right there. They were the two who also helped to find critical information to crack the case. These two were her next two.
The story was absolutely great because it was about a serial arsonist case. One that was very difficult to solve and needed the help of the police, firefighters, and a journalist from a hometown on a mission that truly cares. But there was another story.
This story is SOOO different because there are 10 guys sleeping with the same girl and all knowing about the other but it was the final scene that was the kicker, in celebration, Zoe and the guys are all celebrating together. That makes 10 men with Zoe. Sometimes 3 to 4 at a time. It was one of the most erotic books Nicole Casey has written but also one of the best because the storyline really grabbed me. I highly recommend this book but only if you can handle the erotica.
Right from the start, we get thrown into the action, and get a feel for the mystery that’s going to unfold in the storyline. It also became very obvious to me that this was going to be more emotional than I had anticipated, and I could already tell I was going to be invested in seeing these characters, especially Zoe (our FMC), get their HEA. Nicole did a fabulous job bringing us a good balance of plot & spice, and that’s saying something when you have 10 MMCs lol. Believe it or not though, it wasn’t as difficult as I thought it’d be to keep the guys separate in my head. That’s a testament to Nicole doing such an amazing job at giving them all such distinctive qualities & personalities. The relationships also actually flowed well & made sense for them individually & as a group. I loved that Zoe was strong even through her pain, and wasn’t afraid to go after what she wanted (even if she was a bit discombobulated around the guys lol), yet could also be vulnerable too. The guys brought a bit of everything to the table that you could possibly want from the perfect guy, and it only took 10 of them to accomplish that 😉😝😂 I loved that one of Zoe’s guys, Matty, was the brother of David, Brianna’s husband from the previous book. I always enjoy seeing the ways the books are connected with other ones in the series. I gotta say, I did enjoy that extra bit of danger, suspense & mystery that all of their jobs brought to the storyline; the guys because they all worked at the fire station in one position or another, and Zoe as a journalist trying to solve the mystery of a string of fires set by an arsonist, keeping her hometown on the edge. It definitely helped keep my curiosity levels high. Overall, it was just basically a fairly quick read that had a good storyline with a steady pace, was able to keep my attention from beginning to end, and top it all off, it had great spicy scenes 🔥 & the romance was just right 🥰 I really love this series, and I will definitely do a few rereads ❤️

Zoe is in her hometown to work on a story for the paper she is working for. The arsons are what everyone is talking about, and she wants to be involved from the start of the fire to the end. When she shows up at a fire its too much for her at first and she passes out. She wakes up in the hospital and a friend from her past shows up. Matty and they reminiscence about their past and she tells him why she is in town. He directs her to talk to the fire chief. The next day she goes to the station, and she meets Cohen first and he doesn't want her getting in their way, but he takes her to Paolo to discuss what she wants. If Matty hadn't shown up to help her with them she wouldn't have gotten anywhere. She starts trialing them and staying out of the way while she talks to people on the scene to see if she can get any info for them as well. She ends up going out one night after the guys get done to hang out with them. She has reconnected with two former bullies (Garett and Gabe) and made the made peace with her. She also meets Kit, Kieran, Tobin, Jae and Angus who also work as fire fighters. She has a connection with each man and its not long before things heat up between them all. Will they figure out why the fires are happening? Can they catch who is involoved? Will her mother's research be involved in what's going on? Can they all be together once everything settles?
This is a steamy story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Zoe is back in her home town as an investigative journalist trying to figure out who is setting houses on fire. With some help from her old friend, the firefighters allow her to work with them to help catch the person. The more time she spends with them the more their attraction builds, starting an intimate relationship with them all.
I did like that the guys were all protective of Zoe and truly cared about her and she felt safe with them all and was determined to find the arsonist to keep her community safe.
The book was sweet & fast-paced had mystery, suspense, and spice (with all the firefighters) and ended in a HEA!
(This is def different from my usual read so if you follow any of my reviews then know this is more of a rom-com than the dark romance I read)
Overall: 4 out of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spice/Heat Intensity: 4 out of 5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Type of book: Fast Burn, RH, Multiple 1st Person POV Reading Order: Standalone Title: Love by Numbers 2 - Ten Firemen's Ignition - Book 9 Ending Type: HEA
Ten Firemen's Ignition is Book 9 of the Love by Numbers 2 series. It's a super hot and steamy, OTT, instalust, reverse harem / why choose, girl gets her hot firemen romantic suspense.
So, first of all, I love Nicole's books. She is one of my favorite RH authors. I was skeptical about the 10 men, but OMG, is it hot 🔥 and it works!!
Zoe is an investigative journalist returning home for the first time after losing her Mom in a tragic, unsolved accident. She ends up passing out at one of the fires and is saved. This leads to her teaming up with the firefighters. Some are old friends, some new and even a few former enemies, but they are sorry about the past. Paolo, Cohen, Garette, Gabe, Matty, Kit, Kieran, Tobin, Jae, and Angus are all amazing in their own ways. I couldn't decide who I liked best lol as they are all swoon-worthy.
This story just drew me in. Who is setting the fires? Why? Is it related to her past? Each of the connections with the different guys was sweet, sexy and heartfelt, as well as hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot.🔥. More time with all the boys would have been cool, but then again, 10 is a lot, lol. They all have hearts of gold and are so protective and caring of Zoe. After the drama is resolved, it ends on a very happy note. I loved it!!!!.

Zoe has return to her home town of Rock View to cover a story of suspicious fires/arsons. She has not been home since her Mam who was a criminal behaviour researcher died in an unsolved car accident. On return she goes straight to a fire but faints and ends up in hospital after her fall. There she meets a friend from school Matty, who is a firefighter. He helps put in a good word for her to shadow the fireman and get more information for her investigative story. She comes face to face with 2 tormentors from school Gabe/Garrett who are now contrite for their behaviour. Her 2 best friends Kit/Kieron and the others work there.
While investigating the fires the men are all attracted to Zoe and all fall under her spell. Zoe speaks to residents and her mam's friends, finds that clusters of fires could have been similar to ones that have happened in the past. More digging through archives and something surprising comes to light. This could put her and the men in danger.
Does she flee or does she stay this time and confront her demons?
A good story, tying past to present and through the commitment of the men to help her she is able to fight her demons and have a life back home.

The intense bond forged between Zoe and the firefighters grows, leading to heartfelt moments, growing connections, and spicy encounters. This book is amazing and I loved it! The story of Zoe, Paolo, Cohen, Garette, Gabe, Matty, Kit, Kieran, Tobin, Jae and Angus is filled with love, loss, starting over and a bit of danger and is an absolute must read! Tragedy will bring Zoe back to her home town after the death of her mother sends her to North Carolina. Someone is setting fire to the town and no one can find the culprit. She will be reunited with old high school friends, some high school enemies and some new friends she will meet along the way. I love how the relationship between them changes and develops as the story unfolds. Zoe will be able to forgive her tormentors and it is beautiful how they all come together to solve these terrible crimes. At their wits end, it is her late mother who will give them the keys to solve the crime and it will allow them to acknowledge their feelings for each other and move on to a happily ever after, with Zoe back in her hometown for good, right where she belongs.

Her Life Changing Journey - This was a fantastic, action-packed romance story about a young lady who had given up on relationships and sole concentrated on her career, but found herself in a situation where her mind was continuously blown. Her plan was just to complete the job she was tasked to do, but spending time with ten HOT and GORGEOUS firefighters took her on a pleasure-filled adventure, where her desires were extremely fulfilled.
However, working and being together allowed them to solve a major crime that was plaguing their small town and also get pertinent information about her mother’s death, which brought all of them closer and gave them the chance at getting a wonderful life they never expected. Reading this story was one heck of an experience, with lots of steamy moments and quite a few interesting twists, that had me eagerly turning the pages to find out what happened next. It was a very enjoyable story, that I will be very happy to recommend.

If you are a fan of the Why choose trope then you won't be disappointed in Ten Firemen's Ignition. Nicole Casey has brought the heat that we have come to expect from her books and I am here for it. My favorite part of the book though was not the spicy scenes, even though those were quite nice. I liked that there was a bit of mystery and suspense as the FMC came back to her home town to write an article about a series of arsons that were taking place. Having grown up in the town, Zoe (FMC) knew a few of the firefighters already and that opened doors for her to get her foot in the door to work with the firefighters. As you can assume with all Why Choose romances she soon works her way through all of the men while also researching the arsons. Overall, it was a fun and steamy read that I was able to zip through in just a few hours. With the addition of the "who done it" I didn't want to put it down and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good Why Choose trope.

Zoe Collins grew up in Rockville Nevada. Zoe’s mother was a criminal behavior researcher. She died in a car accident. Zoe took a job in Raleigh North Carolina as a journalist to get away after her mom died. She is back in her hometown to investigate a series of arson cases. When she arrives, she goes to a house fire, faints and is brought to the hospital.
Zoe has past bonds with some of the guys and new friendships with the others. Her past friendship with Matty is what initially gets her into the firehouse. All ten firefighters at the station get to know Zoe better and quickly become protective of her.
I loved how Zoe dealt with opening up her past and how similar she was to her mother while investigating the arson cases for her article. Both women wanted answers. Her mom wanted to stop the arson that was happening four years ago and Zoe wants to stop the arson happening now.

I am a huge fan of Nicole Casey’s books and this one was right at the top! We meet Zoe who is Journalist who comes back to the hometown she ran away from because she lost her mom in a hit and run accident. There is a serial arsonist in town and she is here for the story (and if she happens to solve the case along the way, even better!). Of course since she is investigating/researching an arson case, she meets a lot of sexy firefighters. She starts to develop relationships with these firefighters. And then is surprised to find she is developing relationships with quite a few firefighters!! This story was phenomenal! Mystery, suspense, romance and tons of sexy times! You would think that with 10 guys there wouldn’t be much time left for an actual story, but Nicole Casey did great with giving up a fantastic storyline, excellent characters and tons of eroticism! 10/10!
Very little world building, little to no background or character building on the guys, and it's like outside the little world they have going on in the firehouse, nothing seems to really matter. The chief (Paolo) has kids, but other than a brief mention of them a few times, we don't meet them (at least up to the point I stopped reading right before the end), so we have no idea how they would take their father being in a plural relationship. The "relationship" seems to be solely based on sex, since any real emotional attachments are implied/assumed rather than communicated between the characters. I feel this story was a good start, but the author tried too hard to get everyone some sexy times and didn't flesh out the actual story enough. It was kinda empty, and I say this as someone who pretty much solely reads RH.
This is the 9th book in the Love by Numbers 2 series. It was a fantastic, action-packed, romance story set in a small town. Zoe has given up on relationships and is concentrating on her career. She comes back home to solve who is setting back-to-back fires. Her plan, is complete the job and leave. She didn’t think she would be working with ten hot firefighters to solve a major crime. This brings them all closer together and the fun and steams begins.
This is a great story that flows smoothly, with lots of steamy moments, with a few interesting twists. It had me eagerly turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. It was a very enjoyable story, that I’m very happy to recommend.

Unable to deal with grief following the death of her mother Zoe leaves home to pursue her career as a journalist but when she hears of there is a possible serial arsonist in her home town she goes back to write a story on it hoping for help from the firemen. What she didn't expect though was to find 10 mega hot firemen willing to help her both with her story & the emotional journey with memories of her mum together the drama that unfolds in finding the people responsible for the fires. This is a story that will leave you a bit flustered it's so hot & steamy so make sure your not around anybody when your reading it because it's that good & you'll be glued.

If you are looking for a deep book with lots of character development, this book isn't for you. If you are looking for a fun, spicy, quick and easy read, then this is for you. You get to know everyone on the very surface, except for Zoe who you get to know a little more. The story is fast paced, and it holds your attention. Sometimes I think about dropping the rating to a 4, but then I realize I enjoy all her stories and I buy them and keep going back when she has something new. So this was an enjoyable book, and I would read it again!!.

I always love picking up one of this author's books....I know I will great a great story with real characters and a few sprinkles of spicy steam. This one tugs at the heart strings a little as Zoe has alot of feelings that have been boxed up since she left her hometown, Rockview. She is back for work but quickly finds herself the apple of a few guys eyes and in the middle of a mystery that forces her to face her past. A great story that flows so smoothly and naturally as each character is revealed and brings their own imprint to the story. Enjoy!.

I absolutely loved the story of Zoe and her 10 men. Zoe had left town after her mother had passed on and her and her father were in such a deep depression after the loss of a vibrant mother and wife. Now three years later, Zoe has returned to write about the many arsons that are happening. While her relationships are improving, the risks become higher, but with the help of all of her men and the police, they discover that it was the cartel, causing the fires and wrecking havoc in the town. They take them down and eventually find their happily ever after.

Nicole Casey has given us the story of Zoe, an investigative journalist and the Rockview, NV Fire Department. Zoe used to live in Rockview and has come home to write a story on the unsolved arsons that are happening in town. In order to write a great story and help solve the arsons she must get the cooperation of the fire department. The ten members of the fire department finally are all convinced by their captain, Paolo, to cooperate with Zoe. This book is entertaining. It kept me turning the pages as I really wanted the arsons to be solved and was interested in seeing how Ms. Casey was going to handle it.
