Miracles, Murders & Other Misdemeanours

Rate this book
In this beautifully written book, the author traces the lives of two completely different people, who in the normal course of events would never have met. As one life develops in the poverty stricken tenement blocks of inner London, the other negotiates the fickle world of San Francisco’s celebrity set.It is a book of a thousand what-if’s and if only’s, of serendipity, good fortune and plain bad luck. The two separate stories of the principal characters become one, when through a chance meeting they are joined together for a roller-coaster ride of a life, that sees them working with the down and outs of London, living in a Georgian Mansion in the North Wales hills and building an orphanage on the shores of Lake Victoria in East Africa. Most of all it is a book that shows that we can live many lives within a life, as we twist and turn to cope with what fate throws up. This is a book about faith and the loss of faith, but more than anything else, it is a story of hope.
