Exploration of the role of art during a time of unprecedented climate collapse. Does art operate on an aesthetic stratum, decoupled from biology/materiality/function, or does it have some responsibility to its material underpinnings? How can art intervene functionally, aesthetically, and politically in capitalistic extraction?

Featured: the Euroamerican highway system's fascistic roots; surveillance, activation, illusory emptiness. Indigenous land-title activism through collective art. Ecocommunes.

Fun to read after Deleuze and Guattari's "A Thousand Plateaus". Should also say that the graphic design of this book is beautiful.
