This is a very nice book that chronicles former President Jimmy Carter's life from his childhood to later years. It's written for young readers, so there isn't detailed information. The book has a bit about his childhood, his time in the Navy, his career in politics, things he accomplished while President, and what he did with his life after leaving the Oval Office.
Jimmy Carter was my favorite President and I bought this book for my grandsons so they could learn about what a good person he was.

This is a very worthy addition to the series. It is my best biography of President Carter - the other one I have is very sweet but he looks like Andy Griffith in it, oddly enough. These illustrations are very good and look like him.

I will always have a soft spot for President Carter. He was my Dad's favorite and I have a tender heart for decent people.
