He travels across to England to visit family and whilst travelling on a train from London to Cornwall he has a chance meeting that changes his life forever.At the outset he is a rather callow and shallow young man, but through his travels and trials he becomes so much more.His story takes him from Cornwall, to London and Sydney.He learns compassion when he realises that the only difference between himself and others less fortunate is usually nothing more than sheer luck.
