Well researched and informative. It gives an excellent overview of the Southern campaign of the Revolutionary War concluding with a detailed account of the bloody battle of Eutaw Springs. This is a good book for anyone wanting a short history of the war in the south and its participants. The author does an outstanding job of presenting not only the overall strategies of the British and American commanders, but also concise tactical descriptions of the key battles.

Good short telling of the battle. It has a significant amount of background information. Maps are hard to read but not totally useless.
