'Twas More Than Just a Little Kwanzaa is a lovely little storybook in verse about a family celebrating Kwanzaa. It introduces and celebrates the seven principles of Kwanzaa, and it shows the family celebrating. I don't love the illustrations, but I liked them well enough and think they're cute (I read it digitally, so I'm also wondering if screen size was an issue for me). The verse is mostly decent, although the rhyming felt a little forced. Overall, it's a nice Kwanzaa book, whether you celebrate or are looking to learn.
