An essential teaching text for the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, 'Basic Costing'. Written in a clear, easy-to-understand style, the text is written closely to the syllabus and contains Case Studies, Key Terms, Activities and answers.
The book was okay, apart from Chapter 2 on when a cost was fixed, variable or semi variable. According to class mates I wasn't the only one who got less than 'Met' on this question in the exam (though I did pass).
I am dreading coming back to costing. It seems so simple, basic common sense, but add equations into the mix and you're heading for something never encountered. Good book, horrid subject!! 3/5 stars
