Drakan is the best game ever made. It's better than Skyrim, and every Fallout, and Doom, and whatever the fuck your favorite game is. FUCK that game, Drakan is better than it.
GOD I loved this game. No game story has ever grabbed me as much, and no game has ever been as much just straight-up fun as Drakan. Probably because when I played it with my dad, I was eight. But still, the characters and story were just great and no game has ever managed to capture the sheer joy of Arokh and me flying off a mountain peak, breathing various types of hazardous breath at goblins.
This game was a pretty big influence on my writing life. I think I spent about seven years of my childhood fantasizing about my own cinematic Disney version of this game, complete with song numbers and side characters and all kinds of stupid little girl shit.
Why is one of the main characters in the current novel I am writing called Delon? Could that be an intentional homage to this game? Yes, yes it is and guess what Kynas' real name is hurrrrr durrrrrr
Best game ever made, ever, of all time and when I become a famous author I am going to collab with some game studio (not Ubisoft) to remake it. BEST GAME EVER MADE
