M.S. Murphy hails from Montreal, Canada, though she claims many cities and countries as home thanks to her sateless wanderlust. She studied creative writing in university with the dream of becoming an editor or copywriter. While her 9-to-5 took her down a very different path, her 5-to-9 keeps her well immersed in numerous fantasy worlds—her own included.

M.S. Murphy was an avid reader through her pre-teen and teen years, and this only exploded into a full-blown fascination as she got older. Armed with the credit card of a working woman and a highly curated TikTok FYP, Murphy spends too many hours every year diving into beautiful, fantastical stories. While she is more than willing to dabble in other genres, Murphy’s preference remains fantasy-romance, and this thematic preference very clearly bleeds into her own written works. Well—that and a slew of very angry, very passionate women who are willing to do whatever it takes to rule the world.

Amazing read I need moreee!!!!

I know this book literally came out a few days ago, but it’s just so good I’m desperate for book 3 I hope the wait isn’t too long. I can’t believe the ending it’s a big ‘she did whatttt!’ Moment and I just wanna know moreeee.
I so hope and pray this series blows up because this author is just an amazing writer and deserves it, I’ve never felt so many different emotions for not only the main character but for all and I mean all the other too. And the plot just thickens so wellllll 10/10 this is definitely a series that I could read 2,3,4 times over and over because it just that good. (Also please don’t think this is a paid review I came here from TikTok)

I enjoyed the continuation of The Artifacts of Yria series and look forward ti finding out what will happen next. I cannot wait to get more Safya and Aliana content with them together hopefully.

I absolutely DEVOURED this book. All my weekend plans went out the window when I started the first book and thankfully the second book was just as good. My ONLY complaint is KU told me this was a duology- so imagine my dismay when I got to the end of my new favorite book and read what was very much a nail biting cliffhanger at the end of a series that is very much NOT completed. I told myself I’d only start completed series so I’m a little bummed but I can’t even be mad. ∞/10, new favorite series. I love a FMC that is a force to be reckoned with and loves violence. Next book please come soon 🤞

I immediately had to start this book and finished it all in the same day! I was as obsessed with it as I was with the first, seeing new characters come into play and relationships beginning to spark to life has been amazing! I was biting my nails and on edge desperate to find out what was going to happen next and was not disappointed! Highly recommend these books and I anxiously await to read another😁

My New Favorite!

I just read this and book one, and am so, so thrilled about this series! It’s a surprising story, not at all common or predictable. This story is so well written, the characters’ personal journeys so satisfying & the actual storytelling so delightful, that this is my new favorite story of 2024! Looking forward to more stories in this series!!

Fantastic Fantasy with Balanced Smut

I devoured the first two books in this series in a handful of days. I love the diversity in characters, the rich cultures and structures of both mortals and gods, and the whole enemies to lovers dynamic. Not only that, but the story is front and center, the smut only adds to it. Looking forward to the third book!

This is such a fantastic second instalment to the series. Usually the second book isn't as good as the first but this was just as amazing as its predecessor. The only reason I'm glad I put off reading this series was so I'm able to binge the entire series in one go.

It is just all around amazing. Plot, character development, dialogue, it’s all well done.

Satya’s inner thoughts are pure gold and made me laugh repeatedly.

The way PTSD is portrayed is so authentic, I saw some of my own experience in the way she tried to cope and heal from her trauma.

A lovely continuation of the previous book. The whole lake situation made me want to cry and I felt very satisfied when Enneth found out about it.
