Gordon Snell was a published author and an editor of children's books and young adult books. Some of the published credits of Gordon Snell include The Deadly Camera, Twelve Days: A Christmas Countdown and The King of Quizzical Island. He was married to the author Maeve Binchy until her death in 2012.

I just read this with my five year old son and two year old daughter for their bedtime story.

A wonderful message about saving the animals and environment before we all die. My daughter loved it cause her nickname which we always call her is Lottie.

Best book ever....very well written with Rhyming words, beautiful illustrations. The central idea of the book is so well explained for a 5 year old, absolutely amazing.
