The future is easy to change. A tiny alteration in a person’s path can bring about a whole new set of consequences. Josh Granger, a fourteen-year old schoolboy, finds out after a near death experience that he can dream the future, and realises that living with the consequences is the difficult part of changing your actions as others with supernatural powers search for him. Meanwhile, Alex Caine has quit school and leads an easy life doing nothing, also hiding a secret nobody knows about. Eventually events surrounding his father force him to investigate further into the work of his company, Pioneer. What he discovers of their immoral experiments forces him to act, beginning a chain reaction which sends his life into chaos.

Interspersed with humour and banter, with a little romantic sub-plot, the book follows the two main characters as the events unfold, changing both of their lives irrevocably.
