We were lucky enough to find this lovely big christmas anthology in a charity shop years ago. Every year we have our Christmas books out downstairs and this one always gets pulled out, we always find something new or forgotten in it. There are christmassy extracts from books, Dickens, Hardy, Alison Uttley, Hilaire Belloc, Beatrix Potter, Christina Rosetti, Laurie Lee and many more. Poetry, music and beautiful pencil and charcoal drawings all with a lovely 60's feel. Beautiful book.
