Before becoming agents for the Department of Magic, Jude Bishop and Madison Taylor were students at a school for magic and magical creatures nestled in some unknown location near the Great Lakes. When they’re not spending time driving their teachers crazy, they pine for the day they get their team assignments. But when they are finally transferred to their team, they are shocked when they are sent immediately on an assignment more dangerous than any they ever predicted.This is a short story depicting the origins of two of the supporting characters from the popular Department of Magic series.
