Bridge 5 showcases a Critical Portfolio on author Robert Creeley with essays by Marjorie Perloff, Robert Von Hallberg, Charles Bernstein, Charles Altieri and Tom Clark; Bridge 5 also premiers the first in a previously unpublished multi-part series by Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor on the the End of Mediational Epistemology. Full-color Project Pages by Chris Patch and Joel Ross are guest curated by Monique Meloche of Monique Meloche Gallery in Chicago. Additionally, text from an Artists’ Talk with Peregrine Honig & Sharon Shapiro at Lyons Wier Gallery in Chicago, moderated by Bridge Editor-in-chief Michael Workman, also appears and a limited edition Honig die-cut insert is included with each copy. A second 10 collectible cards in Bridge's "Patrick W. Welch’s Childhood Terrors" trading cards series is also included. Finally, a NEW Music Department has been launched with inaugural essays by Bridge Music Editor Jay Niimi on AC/DC, Seth Sanders' interview with Greil Marcus, and a personal essay by Alex Golub.
