ZEPPOLE, a golden retriever, dreams of becoming a pizza chef like the town's miniature Italian greyhounds, Giuseppe, Enzo, and Valentino. Zeppole doesn't think he has what it takes to make pizza like them because he thinks he is too big and too clumsy. One day he confides in a trusted friend who gives him the confidence to try something new.

Ahh this was the cutest book ever! Firstly, I love pizza and golden retrievers, so I knew I would love absolutely everything about this story! The rhymes were incredibly well done and not simplistic. My 4 year old and I read this together and he loved every second of it. He laughed at the silly dog eating and making pizza. I loved the overall lesson of the story to never give up on your dreams too. Zeppole believed he couldn’t make pizza because of his big paws and long tail but he proved otherwise. I definitely recommend this one to all kiddos!
