Mind blowing!
This book oozes sex appeal from start to finish. The chemistry between Daniel and Mona is so palpable it can be felt from beyond the pages. Daniel: Enemies to lovers is a dark twisted romance that will know your socks off!

I love this book! 💕💕 I couldn’t put it down! It has a bit of different tropes that I love. It’s a mixed marriage for convenience, age difference, marriage contract, dark romance, work romance, with kinks and erotica, slow burn.
I loved Daniel’s character because he seems like cold, distant and emotionless but on the inside…. Damn, made me want to keep reading. 😏

This is my first read from this author, and I was entertained by this story. 3.5
Daniel Medina has become a very influential and powerful man, one that the sultan and his family trusts. He is placed as the new Minister of Health, in charge of the pharmaceutical dispensary where Mona works.
I enjoyed the tension between these two, building on their teenage attraction to each other, although things moved quite slowly. There definitely is everything in this story that the author mentioned on page 5, but Mona's naivety and bratty behavior could have been a big problem for her, and it wasn't. So, it's on the lesser intensity side of the list, IMO. I kept waiting for him to just lose it, but he was actually loving and sweet. The storyline is interesting and it was easy to read.
I am absolutely moving on to Hans, the next story, and look forward to continuing the storyline.

DARK romance
Oooof this is my first book by Emma and it won’t be my last! Enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience is the perfect combo! The MCs whose names I already forgot have extreme chemistry! Like coming off the pages chemistry! I couldn’t find my next Emma book fast enough! Highly recommend!

So at what part during his humiliation cycles, does she actually want this?
Hes forcing and making her the whole time and even internally, she hates it.
What a toxic abuser.
Seriously, when will Romance novels stopped being dominated by sexless Pick Mes?
She is in pain, in pain, repeatedly, and he enjoys it, against her will.

Author:
The author has the potential to expand their writing. While the author is a good writer some things could be improved on. The timeline was just “a few days” or seemed to almost jump time without really explaining any of it. Some of the wording for things was slightly confusing or just didn’t seem to fit what she was trying to convey through her writing. She uses the word ‘sardonic’ a lot. Not good or bad but an observation.
Book:
This isn’t quite a slow burn because things happen in the beginning but the real smut comes slightly later in the book. There is very little story outside of the MCs story. If you’re seeking something with more of an actual storyline that involves more than the achievement of something of adult content, this story wouldn’t really be for you. That being said the smut was not overly vulgar but kept it interesting to read through it all.

Wow, another great read the story was written well and the characters were sensational. Beware trigger warnings. This story had a great description from when they were younger and then to reconnect when they were older. Mona grew up with Daniels sister while having a crush on Daniel. Daniel Medina, was a doctor and now is a Minister of Health, he is tall, handsome, charismatic, dominant, then he can manipulate you, tease you and pull you apart or even break you. Daniel manipulated Mona into marrying him for a year, he had her working for him and as arrogant as he is he did not want to have emotions with her being married and living under the one roof. Daniel teased her, humiliated her and even spanked her, will they fall in love or would they separate after the year is up.

This is one steamy romance! I loved that the main characters were not your standard cookie-cutter characters, they had depth and were far from perfect. I very much enjoyed when Mona stood up to Daniel and showed her fire and feistiness. There were times when I wanted to beat both characters over the head for being stubborn and difficult, but the fact that the depth of the writing made me feel so strongly about how the characters were behaving, showed that the author’s writing had me invested in the storyline. As long as you like super sexy romances, this is a definite read!

If you are looking for a book you won’t be able to put down this one is for you. I know I’ll be reading more than once. The characters are interesting as is the story line. If you like a book with a dominant male and an age gap this one is for you.

dark play turns romantic
Daniel has a lusting desire to dominate. Mona has adored him since her teenaged years — until he walked away and broke her heart. Now he’s back and that need to dominate, to take, still thrums inside him…for the one who got away.
Darkly deviant with a happy ending, don’t read it for the dialogue (if you get my drift).

This an enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience, age-gap romance with plenty of steam. Daniel and Mona are very well developed characters. The plot had me flipping pages non-stop! It will have your emotions all in a turmoil! There are triggers.⚠️

This book is a sexy dark contemporary romance novel featuring a dominant hero and a strong-willed heroine who resists him in the beginning but eventually falls for him. Erotic, very descriptive, sexy and entertaining. Not my usual genre but I enjoyed it.
