The information contained in this book is detailed, thorough, and (on the whole) unbiased, but the writing can come across rather stuffy and outdated (the book itself is already somewhat out-of-date, but still relevant overall). I had to force myself through the first 40 pages or so but am now thoroughly enjoying it, which surprised me. (Also, stylistically speaking, his lack of use re: commas can be really frustrating at times; it sometimes obscures meaning.)
