What started as a genuine interest in all things mythological truly ended in a ramble through the indecipherable.

I realised early on that this was a more direct translation of hieroglyphics than a nicely written by Stephen Fry kind of deal.

Nevertheless, we got through it. I cant say I understood a word or that I know any of the stories of Egyptian Mythology...but there is a sense of pride there for some reason, just finishing something challenging.

3 stars seems fair, and unfair. I really haven't a clue what I just read.

I DNFed this book after about a chapter - it’s written like a bible and I am not about that life…
