This is Hemmingson's darkest work yet. It tells the tale of a young associate professor who becomes involved with Danielle, a very, um, sexually adventurous young woman who is actually the sex slave of his mentor, an older professor. He is slowly drawn into their world of kink. This one isn't for the meek. This isn't erotica, this is the story of a very psychologically damaged young woman and the men that exploit it. It's all the more compelling because it isn't written to tittilate. Some parts even shocked me(and I consider myself pretty damn jaded about this stuff). Once again Hemmingson writes with smooth prose and excellent dialogue. He even ends the book with poetry written by Danielle. A challenging work for the distinguished reader. Highly Recommended(you've been warned).

I enjoyed The Rooms up until the story changed 3/4 a way through. I liked how Danni said what she wanted, acted upon it.

Overall, it was an okay story with hot conversations.
