I had ARC Copies of each of these books, but this is my honest and voluntary opinion. Great Collection of books!
Just a Cowboy’s Convenient Marriage
Abrielle Adams has been living on a ranch for a couple years paying taxes and utilities when Smith Long comes to town. His aunt had told him he could have the ranch, but there were some stipulations – he had to share it with Abrielle, and in order to do that they must marry. An interesting look at learning to get along and work together for the benefit of others. A great story!
Just a Cowboy’s Best Friend
Teagan Lepley is asked to watch a lady’s cats and parakeet while she is away. When the lady’s neighbor starts making unwanted advances, Teagan asks her best friend Deuce Zimmerman to hang out with her, which isn’t a hardship as they are always together. When his family asks him to move to another town to help with the family business for two years, both Teagan and Deuce begin to rethink their relationship. A great story about friendship, not wanting things to change, and stepping out in faith. A must read!
Just a Cowboy’s Enemy
Enemies for years, Cormack Henderson and Brooklyn Lepley are charged with co-parenting a friend’s little girl and a stud horse with a high value when he dies. They must learn to get along, and make decisions that are best for the welfare of Quinn. A great book with themes of cooperation, forgiveness, and communication.
Just a Cowboy’s Midnight Bride
Mav finds a letter stating he will gain a billion dollars if he’s married by midnight. He sits in the diner after announcing he’ll interview women to be his wife and marry at 11:30 that night. Cassie has had a crush on Mav for years, but thinks lots of women will want to marry him. She instead goes to the church that night and finds no one has been interested in marrying him so she walks up the aisle and marries him. They are both committed to the marriage, but must learn to know each other and work together. A great book about commitment and communication.
Just a Cowboy’s Love Story
Jane has two daughters and runs the local diner. Her daughters want a father and husband for Jane. Elias Stone is new in town and when he goes to the diner he ends up with a waiter’s job. He decides he’s ok with that, and wants to help Jane out. He’s down on himself since he was dishonorably discharged from the Air Force when he wouldn’t divulge someone else’s secret. He and Jane neither of whom want a relationship, end up drawn to each other. A touching story about love, trust and second chances.
Just a Cowboy’s Secret Baby
Darby Woods arrives in Sweet Water and meets Jonah Mills who is just the person Darby was looking for since he’s the father of her adopted daughter, Amber. He offers her an office and housekeeping job at the ranch he owns with his Air Force friends. When he discovers Amber is his daughter, he wants to be part of her life, and asks Darby to marry him. As they get to know each other, and make decisions about Amber’s welfare, they become close. A touching story about commitment, and trust.
Just a Cowboy’s Shotgun Wedding
Piper is a widow with six young children and is struggling to make ends meet. Gideon agrees to put the addition the town paid for on her house without charging for labor. As he begins, she falls and breaks her foot and he takes her to the hospital. The more time they spend together the more they get along and start to fall in love. An uplifting story about hardship, feeling inadequate, and trusting another person.
Just a Cowboy’s Princess
Zeke brings his sister, Princess Kennedy Weaver-Payne to Sweet Briar Farm. His friend Baker Lawrence picks her up in town, and to avoid the paparazzi, he tells people she is his wife. Later that day, Zeke shows up with the preacher so they aren’t lying. Both miraculously agree to marry and to make it work and last. With all the twists and turns and interruptions on the farm, they begin their marriage. An engaging and entertaining book about commitment, communication, and working together.

Just a Cowboy's Convenient Marriage
We're back in Sweetwater. I love this small town and the people who live there. The Piece Makers weren't involved in any matchmaking this time. It was Aunt April. I know when I pick up one if Jessie's books, I don't have to worry about what I am going to read.

Just a Cowboy's Best Friend
Teagan and Deuce have been best friends for two decades. They do everything together. A new man has moved to Sweet Water and is showing an interest in Teagan, which Deuce doesn't like. Will he realize that he wants to be more than just best friends? Could she possibly feel the same way?

Just a Cowboy's Enemy
Brooklyn and Cormac had been enemies since high school (about a decade) for something she thought he had said. They find out they are going to be co-parents to a seven-year-old girl. Will they be able to work through their differences to be good parents for this little girl? She needs stability in her life after losing her mom and dad. Will they be able to give her that?

Just a Cowboy's Midnight Bride
Cassie has had a crush on Mav since she was about 15 years old. She made a promise to God that she wasn't going to chase after Mav. If God wanted them to be together, then He would provide a way.

Mav didn't know what he was going to do. It looked like he might lose everything. He got down on his knees and did some serious praying, asking God to help him. A tiny voice was telling him to open the desk drawer. When he did and took some of the papers out, the top envelope still in the drawer was from an attorney. When he opened and read it, he found out he had until midnight that day to get married, and he would get one billion dollars.

You'll have to read the book for the rest of the story. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Just a Cowboy's Love Story
The match between Jane and Elias didn't have anything to do with the ladies in Sweet Water. In fact, Miss April was trying to match him with someone else. As always, you won't be disappointed.

Just a Cowboy's Secret Baby
Every time I read one of Jessie's books, I think I have found my favorite, but then she writes another one. I love that all of her books are Christian based.

Just a Cowboy's Shotgun Wedding
I just found my favorite book by Jessie. That is, until I read the next one.

I love the banter between Piper and Gideon. They really seem 'to get' each other. When decisions need to be made, they pray about it.

The counseling the preacher gave them about how to treat each other was straight from God's Word. That is really food for thought.

Just a Cowboy's Princess
Jessie's books are hard to put down once you start reading, and this one isn't any different.

Kennedy (Kenni) is a princess, who divorced her husband after he cheated on her. She is now in North Dakota with her brother, Zeke, hiding from the paparazzi.

Baker, a friend of Zeke's from the Air Force owns Sweet Briar Ranch. Zeke had asked him to get Kenni out of town. He saw her hiding behind Billy, the town steer.

She had a crush on Baker when they were teenagers. He was the first guy she kissed. Would seeing him again bring back those feelings? Would he possibly develop feelings for her?

I received a free ARC of each of the books, and this is my honest opinion.

Book 1 - Just a Cowboy's Convenient Marriage:
Ah. Another series in Sweet Water. Ee! So excited. Plus, I LOVE military heroes, especially SEAL and flyboys, so, multiple faceted excitement going on over here. Lol. I loved the characters and the setting up for a good series here. I liked the banter. You know it’s gonna be a good book when some of the first lessons talked about are ones you’ve been parroting around the house lately. Lol. I love the depth we got on many characters. I’m super excited for this series to continue!

Book 2 - Just a Cowboy's Best Friend:
I enjoyed this romance. Some older men, some young whippersnappers, sisters, and so much more. So many directions for the series and town to go and I just cannot wait to read more.

Book 3 - Just a Cowboy's Enemy:
I really liked this book and the focus on not doing what the world approves. The idea of doing what is best for a child, not yourself. Some great and hard lessons here. I really dwelled in those sections and let them sink in. We are called to live life in obedience to God and for His glory alone, regardless of other’s opinions or our own comfort. A wonderful book. I cannot wait to see what else this series will bring us!

Book 4 - Just a Cowboy's Midnight Bride:
Ooh! This brings me back to the original Sweetwater series! If you want more of these letters, and Mav’s siblings, go check it out.
This was a lovely book with characters we have waited for. I love how this series is all about the choices we make in marriage and our attitudes, rather than the romantic feelings. These books are great sources of learning, conviction, and reaffirmation. I love how these romances are all built on a foundation of Christ.

Book 5 - Just a Cowboy's Love Story:
This really was a sweet, small town love story. Adorable matchmaking kids and a unique bovine. It was lovely for our diner owner to get her own story. I’m loving how this series is unfolding. A lot of good lessons on life, faith, kissing outside of marriage… ;)

Book 6 - Just a Cowboy's Secret Baby:
I grew up super involved in our local crisis pregnancy center, so this book holds a special place in my heart. I liked how it branched out to let us meet some new characters also. It was a lovely read.

Book 7 - Just a Cowboy's Shotgun Wedding:
I really liked this book. The humor and easy manner were lovely. I liked the chaos of the kids as well, I only have three, but many days that’s more than enough. Lol. It was a lovely read. I enjoyed the connections of other people and circumstances throughout the book, especially those teenagers. I’m still super excited to see where this series will take us!

Book 8 - Just a Cowboy's Princess:
I sailed through this book. I liked the unique “Royal” angle. My favorite trope is brother's best friend so that was a big plus also. It was super interesting to see so much of the cows and farm life. Especially those days where things just keep piling on. Sometimes life feels like that. Like the waves keep hitting and you can barely get a breath before the next one topples you. I’m super excited for the next books!!

Just a Cowboy's Convenient Marriage - Miss April has a few tricks up her sleeve to get these two together - Abrielle and Smith. She only has one condition in order for them to get her ranch, but will they be willing to meet it? They have the funniest first meeting and a rather uncomfortable second one. Really liked seeing these two be open to what the Lord has in store for them.

Just a Cowboy's Best Friend - Teagan & Deuce are best friends and have been for years. There are each secretly crazy about each other but are afraid of losing their best friend. Their family and friends were funny and so supportive and encouraging them each to admit their feelings. Loved loved the ending.

Just a Cowboy's Enemy - 5 stars -It always amazes me how this author can take two characters who don't like each other and by the end of the book they are crazy about each other. Brooklyn and Cormac have a past that he doesn't understand and she can't seem to forgive or forget. Brought together by a child and a horse was definitely a unique twist. Loved seeing them seek forgiveness and put the Lord first. Oh what an ending. My favorite so far in this series.

Just a Cowboy's Midnight Bride - 5 stars - I have been looking to Mav and Cassie's book for awhile. She is more than the girl who had cancer but will he see her? The midnight deadline for a bride storyline was different and I really like these two together. Cassie has finally come to terms with Mav not seeing her but things aren't always how they appear. I thought he really grew as a character. Sweet ending.

Just a Cowboy's Love Story - 5 stars - Jane and Elias fall quickly but neither seems to want to. Loved how her daughter's and their friend played matchmaker. How my heart hurt for Elias. Sweet love story full of faith.

Just a Cowboy's Secret Baby - Darby and Jonah have quite the first meeting. It looks like she has had a very productive first day in Sweet Briar. Definitely chemistry between these two. Loved how Jonah responded to Darby's secret. Another great book in this series.

Just a Cowboy's Shotgun Wedding - 5 stars - Piper and Gideon are my favorite couple in this series!!! Loved how they came to be in each other's lives and how their story played out. Lots of matchmakers in this story including some farm animals. Piper's children were adorable and love how they used the water guns. Lots of witty banter and funny moments in this book. Their reliance upon the Lord was inspirational. Was sad when the book ended. Need a follow up book.

Just a Cowboy's Princess - Kenni and Baker have one unusual meeting. They have a past connection - her brother which is his best friend - so what kind of future will they have? Talk about a shot gun wedding but without the shotguns. There were so many comical moments in this book. What a great ending to their very long and animal filled day.

In Just a Cowboy's Convenient Marriage I love how Smith's aunt, and the rest of the town, manage to guide Abrielle and Smith to marriage.

In Just a Cowboy's Best Friend Deuce and Teagan are best friends - each afraid to ask for more. It is amazing what lengths the church ladies will go to when trying to set up a match.

In Just a Cowboy's Enemy Brooklyn and Cormac have each been willed a half interest in an outstanding horse and custody of a young girl.

In Just a Cowboy's Midnight BrideMav and Cassie let God guide their actions as they get married for the sake of this orphan who has been left to their care.

Just a Cowboy's Love Story has two special girls that just want a dad.

In Just a Cowboy's Secret Baby you will find three people making a new family unit, following God's plans and some marriage advice.

In Just a Cowboy's Shotgun Wedding Piper, all six kids, Gideon, the matchmaking animals and ladies of the towncreate the best "shotgun" wedding ever!

In Just a Cowboy's Princess while Kenni hides from the paparazzi, she and Baker spend a lot of time together.

Each of these books enchanted me!

Every book in this set is fantastic. I read them all individually. But I will leave a review for the set.
Jessie Gussman is a master at combining humor with great Christian principles. It creates a very enjoyable reading experience.

All the stories take place on or near the Sweet Briar Ranch in North Dakota. It is a quirky area with loads of lovable characters – and animals. The books are fun, funny, interesting, thought provoking, romantic, and God-honoring. In some places, I laughed until I cried. Even though there is a lot of humor, there are also great principles to live by. When you finish the series, you will have made a lot of friends in the town you would love to visit.

Many godly aspects are displayed, such as seeking God’s will, waiting on God’s timing, keeping your word, and trust. Also, some of the stories include Christian principles of child rearing, family dynamics, and marriage.

There are no cliffhangers. Each story is complete, but friends from other stories will show up.

This series is a must read for sure. Sweet Briar ranch is purchased by this amazing group of individuals each possessing their own expertise in a variety of mechanical expertise. This is truly a series you won’t want to miss. Author Jessie Gussman brings them all together in a way that is rarely seen . You will experience a myriad of emotion, a brotherhood unlike any other, love, sadness, their love of and search for the closeness with the Lord. You will really enjoy each story and see how they are all brought together in a way that only Jessie Gussman can do. This is one of my favorite series and I highly recommend them. They are a iclean easy to read group of books so grab them quickly.

It's been a few months since I finished this series, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. After finishing this, I went on to read every book Jessie has written so far. When one is published, I jump on it so I can read it. There are gems of Godly wisdom sprinkled liberally in each novel. The characters model characteristics and traits that motivate me to be more thoughtful and aware. Jessie has a gift, she entertains, encourages and enlightens through her writing. She even encourages me to put my reading down and get up to live my life at times, wisdom and insights that have to be God given. If you haven't read this series, pick it up. I taught middle school special ed students to read, and usually enjoy it, for 30 years. My book recommendations are solid. ;)

I have read all the books in this series and highly recommend them. Each is a HEA and a standalone. One favorite was Just A Cowboy's Midnight Bride because Mav is such an interesting character and the situation is truly unique. Just a Cowboy's Secret Baby is a twist on the usual secret baby story line and a very sweet story. Just A Cowboy's Enemy had a great ending, but really needs a whole nother story to follow up the family! Lots of these are twists on the typical tropes, like Just a Cowboy's Shotgun Wedding. These books are lighthearted and serious at the same time, with discussions about faith and values and living what you believe.

At 71, I wish I had these good 50 or more years ago. The books are funny yet with great principles that you absorb as you laugh. The characters are interesting, and you wish you could move there and have them as friends.

I read each book. These books take place around the Sweet Briar ranch in North Dakota. Some of the stories include arranged marriage, a marriage of convenience and a couple of “Surprise” marriages. Themes include waiting on God, seeking God’s will, Putting others first, trusting that God wants the best for his children.

There are no cliffhangers. Each story is complete, but friends from other stories will show up.

You’ll love Sweet Water! You will find it all in these eight stories. Cute kids (both human and goat), match makers (human and a Highland Steer!), humor, romance, and a great inspirational message.
You will laugh and cry as you read and probably stay up way too late! These stories just flow and the conversations are so real and the characters are relatable. If you are looking for a sweet, clean, inspirational series that is easy and fun to read this is it. You will love Jessie Gussman’s writing style!

I read each of these books as they were released and am happy to see them all in a boxed set! You don't have to wait to read the next one, it is already there!
These stories are all clean, faith-based books that teach us all lessons that we didn't know we needed before turning the pages within them! Watch people's characters develop to what God wants them to be versus what the world says is acceptable.
I received these stories from the author, but was not obligated to review. I love these books so much that I can't help but spread the word! Grab them and enjoy!

This is such a great series; I have read them all. They will make you chuckle at the antics of the Billy the Highland matchmaking steer and Munchie the pig and Miss Sharlene and her group of ladies. The author has such a way to show strength and character in her stories. The faith and messages in the series are fantastic, the fun creative way that the couples come together kept me smiling and laughing. I highly recommend this series; you won't regret it.

Flyboys of Sweet Briar Ranch is a set of Christian romances that will leave you wanting to move to North Dakota to enjoy the camaraderie of this small town that has a matchmaking steer roaming the streets. Each book will also provide glimpses of the characters from the other books so you stay “in touch” with them. I highly recommend this set because after you read the first one, you’ll want to read about the other flyboys that make Sweet Briar Ranch their home!

I have read every book in this series and they are all worth reading a second or even a third time. They are funny and entertaining but at the same time, they will have you looking in the mirror to see if you need to make changes to be your best self. The characters are down-to-earth and struggling with the same issues as everyone else but they show so much character that you can't help but be inspired by them.

I absolutely loved this series. I loved it so much I have it in paperback and ebook.  This is a spin-off series centered around stories based in Sweet Water, North Dakota. The main male characters are men who had served together in the military, hence the title Flyboys. They buy a ranch together, Sweet Briar Ranch. I especially love Billy the matchmaking Highland steer and Munchie, his love interest who happens to be a pig. A great series to read. Wonderful Christian fiction.

Flyboys of Sweet Briar Ranch is an awesome series.
The books don't follow the same tropes, but all the stories are "sweet and clean" and they all are set around the same small town.

There is a lot of God talk and Bible talk. More than that, these characters are written to live out what they profess to believe. The couples have the serious, adult conversations.

There is so much that struck home, with happy tears and sad, all of it rolls up into amazing stories.

I absolutely loved this entire series! I have no idea how Jessie manages to put so much faith into real life situations in her books, but she does! Every book I read, leaves me wanting to be a better person! The love, the laughter, the tears, the struggles, and the moments of wanting to be all that you can be, will make you glad that you stopped and read any of Jessie’s books!

I loved all the books in this series, if I had to pick a favourite I think it would be Just a Cowboy's Secret Baby as I loved the twist on this trope. Like all of Jessie Gussman's books, they are easy to read, very entertaining (with some crazy characters) but most of all, they make you think about the deeper things of life, about God and your relationship with God and those around you.

What a wonderful series. This series has a Christian foundation and is romantic and humorous. I adore how Jessie Gussman writes these kinds of romantic novels without of the vulgarity found in other works. You'll be itching to read the following book in the series because of these books. Jessie Gussman wrote an amazing piece. This series is excellent, in my opinion.

Have only read 1 or 2 of the books in the boxset but looking forward to reading the rest of the boxset.

Jessie Gussman goes back to North Dakota with this new series, a spin off of the Coming Home to North Dakota series. Flyboys, ranches, animals and some matchmaking shenanigans to boot. The romances are sweet, clean and Christ honouring.

These are the books that got me sold out to Ms. Gussman's storytelling. They are a combination of sweet, funny, thought-provoking, encouraging and inspiring.

I think my best was Just a Cowboy-s Midnight Bride. I loved the way the story evolved and of course the HEA.

If you need life inspiration, give this boxset a try, you'd find something in it just for you.

Feel-Good Romance!
Enjoyed it! And laughed out loud too!

Heartwarming, clean cowboy romances

This is a wonderful set of Christian western romances. Although the stories all take place in a small North Dakota town, the couples portray a wide range of relatable struggles they must overcome on their way to happiness. There is humor, tears, and lessons of faith to learn along the way. The stories are standalone and gave me hours of enjoyable reading.
