Ezra is an actor leaving the limelight in order to raise his son alone in his Vermont hometown. Everything seems to be going okay until he meets his childhood bully, an omega named Algernon. He then begins to feel nervous that Algernon may become some sort of danger to him and his son. Yet, things take a very different turn when the two meet at a bar and take out their frustrations in a bathroom. After that, the relationship becomes something entirely different.
Algernon is a general nobody omega in his Vermont hometown, working in a department store in the mall. Once a hellion, he has calmed down considerably and matured. He finds a lost child in his store and helps to find his father, only to find out said father is Ezra Murphy, a successful actor and his former victim, except now he's grown and hot. Despite the attraction, Algernon still has negative feelings towards him. After enticing him in a bar bathroom, the two start to actually talk, forming the very beginnings of some form of relationship, though, to Algernon, it's a sex-only relationship. However, this former bully starts to wonder if maybe he would like more from Ezra.

Well, my name is Ravyn Karasu. I chose the name for myself years ago as a play on words. Ravyn, as in the bird, raven, and Karasu after the Japanese word for crow. Get it? Even after all these years, I still enjoy the name.
I was born in Cape May, New Jersey on April 30, 1982. I knew I wanted to write stories since I was four years old and I’ve worked really hard my whole life to improve and become the best writer I could possibly be. It was my dream to be published and to publish many novels one day.
I published my debut novel "Akhetaten's Gates" in 2008, following up in 2014 with more titles.
I currently live in North Carolina where I am always working on something writing-related, be it artwork, writing, editing, researching, or brainstorming.

I like to write in a plethora of different genres, including: Fantasy/Dark Fantasy, Emotional Drama, Historical Fiction, Romance/Erotica, Science Fiction, and really anything that comes to mind that I feel like writing.
I loved the world. it was super easy to immerse into it and feel cozy and homey in here. it was nice story about everyday life, about people meeting, falling in love, navigating old and new relationships, adding to existing family more love and warmth. but I wasn't a fan of decision to not make Algernon apologize to Ezra for bullying in school. it was just swept under a rug. Characters were consistent, I don't know it's good or bad thing. they already were developed people and didn't change much during the book. maybe Ezra became a little less people pleaser, but I'm not sure. a good story to relax and enjoy it like one of those tv-series you put on in background while cooking. just predictable good time.
Edit after 3 months: I randomly thought about this book and I don't have a single good thing to say about omega. I remember he was trying to hookup with his friend justifying it with "well Ezra didnt say we are dating so we arent." that's basically my only lasting impression of him. While thinking about Ezra I remember good person, good father, gentle partner. he was rich but never stuck-up. I think Ezra is too good for omega-mc. He could have scored much better partner who would try to be more involved with Ezra's son, who didn't bully him in school, who can speak his feelings and be more committed.
