This is a fantastic book on property investing!

In a similar class to Margaret Lomas' How To Achieve Property Success, I really enjoyed the level of detail the author went to in each stage of the property investment journey. While some authors tend to gloss over some parts to keep their books readable, this dives in and goes through detailed examples showing how the figures stack up in each instance. The author stands by his work and even offers a money-back guarantee if you don't find your profits improve as a result of reading it.

Well worth the purchase price and keeping it on your shelves!

This book is Australia-based but does have a lot for the American reader but I thought it was fairly repetitive. Tighter editing would have cut this book by 1/3. There were some assumptions the author held that I simply do not abide by, as a buy-and-hold real estate investor of almost 30 years. The author focuses on growth appreciation to an uncomfortable degree. He states outright that homes are depreciating assets. Huh? And he has many obfuscating formulas to calculate whether a property is worthy. Keep it simple, Stupid.
