He faces speakers with their awesome opportunity to hear what God says through the Bible and transfer that Truth so that audiences will have to listen. The Bible provides examples effective speech delivery. These stimulate our imagination so we can paint pictures of truth in the minds behind the seeing eyes and hearing ears. Munson tells how to read an audience, speak in a conversational style, and use humor, current events, and drama effectively. Above all, speakers must be earnest and believable. Wow! This is a must-read for any Sunday school teacher or speaker. The author gives multitudes of practical ideas for communicating Biblical truths in an inviting way. Some of the jokes in it are also kind of cute! It is definitely a book that I will refer to again and again when I need fresh ideas in teaching a lesson.

I related well to this author's style and ideas. An inspiring read. Christians, be prepared to be convicted! "To avoid fear and allow the Spirit to move, start the hard work of planning and preparing as soon as possible." Definitely read chapter 13.
