I think this is one of my favorite commentaries--I am intrigued by what I am shown by the idea of having to enact the gospels instead of just studying them. Plus he has a really intriguing take on a lot of the Greek. He doesn't like to smooth over the edges, and since I pastor a congregation with a lot of roughness, this is especially helpful. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that he left some of the pericopes out! Wish he would go back and do a follow up that's not lectionary based!
