Pushing up Geraniums

Rate this book
Laura Kenzel can't seem to stay away from murder, although to be fair about it, the Jacobsons are obsessed with removing her from the scene -- permanently. Laura and Detective Steve Morgan havae come to an understanding about their feelings for each other, until District Superintendent Bill Collins interfers, giving Steve the impression that he and Laura are to be wed. Laura's daughter and son-in-law bring her grandson Josh to spend a year with her while they are in Europe. They arrive on the heels of Rascal and Mischief uncovering a body in the youth's garden plot. A lone potted geranium sits atop the mound of dirt like a red flag of warning and Laura is in for another round of murder, mayhem and trouble. All she wants is to be a good pastor, but she has a lot to learn before that can happen.
