Old book, pretty elementary, picked up on a whim to fill out a Thriftbook order to meet the minimum price for free shipping. Sadly, I'm well beyond this book, & wouldn't have bought it had I had a chance to see it first. Hazard of online book shopping! Definitely not recommended if you already know something about the topic, though I suppose it would serve for someone's first intro to the topic. For me, not a keeper. I'll look through the rest of the photos, write up a (likely) 2-star review, and pass it on to the library book sale.

While the text of this 1966 book is heavily out of date, it has more pages of photos than of text. The photos are a very nice overview of art from Alaska and Canada in the north, to the Olmec, Toltec, and so on in the south.
