As someone in neuroscience academia, I was looking for how the scientific information is relayed along with guidance. I believe that this would be perfect for a parent of a child with the disorder - if they are aware of the condition on time; as noted by Ms. Phillips, this book isn't a perfect replacement for therapy. But for those unwilling or unable to undertake therapy, I believe that this book is satisfactory.
A lot of helpful info you know nothing about OCD. I know quite a bit since I have it myself. It’s also geared towards older kids, which makes sense because that’s when they could actively participate in therapy and what not.
