The dragons are back in another adventure. This time they are trying to prevent an assassination; find missing treasure and change Victorian attitudes.
This tale is based around a mining catastrophe where one ten year old boy, George, working in the mine as a tram, dragging coal from the coal face, finds a coin at the moment of disaster and is summoned from the collapsed mine by a young dragon, Star.
It intersperses with the efforts of the Dragons of High Esterel to enlist help to change Victorian attitudes to child working conditions.
The story follows the dragons as they search for missing treasure and the characters they meet are interwoven with yarns and anecdotes along the way. Meet the Sea Sprout, Black Sam, First mate Parrot, Krookodiles, Weegie Birds, Funny Bunnies, Brumblee bees, Stumpy of the Yard.
