Ake is a strong yet emotionally layered protagonist, navigating a treacherous world of magic, betrayal, and power struggles. Her journey of self-discovery is as compelling as the external battles she faces.

Nadine Abrahams has crafted a richly layered world and characters who stick with you. I found myself invested from the very beginning, and the emotional payoff was worth every twist and turn. I’m eagerly awaiting the next installment. A vast improvement from book1 :)

The second part of primal heartbeat let me tell you this was such an amazing story I’m so excited to see where book 3 leads us and where every finally finds their places. This was such an easy and quick read that I couldn’t stop reading after I started. Thank you so much for giving me an entertaining story that kept me wondering where it was going!

we see more consolidated relations and how they start really finding their places. I think the maturity of the writing reflect on how the characters also mature and have less outbursts than on the first part. We can just wait to see how this unfolds on the third one!
