The story is very entertaining and listening to the audiobook helps a lot. I am thinking that despite not having chapters the activities at the back of the book separate the story into chunks, maybe that can be an option to read the book in sections.
This is the audiobook with the activities: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DS_75...
And this is the main page where it can be downloaded: https://english-e-reader.net/book/the...

I felt that there was a bit problem in the main character's conduct, but I understood his feelings for the girl with green eyes. I finished reading this book while I cheer him up. By the way, I enjoyed listening to the audio at the speed of 100 per cent. For a while, I am going to listen many audios of this level for practice.

John Escott’s *The Girl with Green Eyes* is a short and engaging mystery novel designed for English learners at the starter level. As part of the Oxford Bookworms Library, it uses simple language and controlled vocabulary to make reading accessible while still telling an intriguing story.

The plot follows a young man, Bill, who becomes captivated by a mysterious girl with striking green eyes. His fascination soon turns into suspense as he finds himself entangled in a puzzling situation involving deception and danger. The story keeps readers engaged with its gradual build-up of mystery and a satisfying conclusion.

One of the book’s strengths is its readability. The sentences are clear and straightforward, making it an excellent choice for beginner English learners. The well-paced plot, combined with easy-to-understand vocabulary, ensures that readers can follow along without frustration. Additionally, the illustrations and glossary help reinforce comprehension.

Overall, *The Girl with Green Eyes* is a great choice for learners who want to improve their English while enjoying a light mystery. It’s an engaging and accessible read that introduces storytelling elements without overwhelming new readers.

Time: 6/4...20 minutes
7 Words: porter,woman,sketch-book,bring,take-in,serch,happy??
Questions:
1. Can you do everything for lover or someone you love even if it's dengerous?
----------It's is difficult question, but if I can, I want to do it.
2. Have you ever been interested in something?
----------Yes, I've recently become watching DVD.

I think this story is interesting and easy to understand.
However, I don't like the punch line because the worst thing is the main character's action, but people who were arrested by polices are only women and her company. I think main character should be arrested, too. What do you think about it?

Another graded readers book for beginners. I like the main character. He is young, naive, and thinks that he has helped the girl. When you are young and naive, you are trying to be good and helpful but other people see that, take advantage of you and use that against you. Nowadays, people get scammed all the time, it doesn't matter whether you are young or not.
