As President Armstrong settles into the Oval Office, he soon realizes that the stench of corruption permeates every corner of the capital city, seeping into the very fabric of the nation.
With each passing day, Lee discovers that the leaders under his command have been turning a blind eye to the rot that festers within their agencies, as they advance their own self-serving agendas, consumed by power and greed.
As the truth finally comes to light, newly appointed President Armstrong puts plans into action to clean house before he must fall on his sword for the sins of those under his command.
Will it be enough to sweep away the deep-seated corruption?
Started out with a glaring error to me when April 1st was on a Sunday which doesn’t add up to the current time frame which is usually accurate in Carol’s books. This story is taking place in 2025 and the next Sunday April 1st is in 2029. Chaos was so far the best in this “True Colors” series. There was complete incompetence in the functioning of the US Government. Lots of terrorists and other bad guys killed with an equal amount of Government workers killed. Ended quite well with the chaos currently under some sort of control. I’m looking forward to “Trace of Treason” and “The Third Decoy”.
Chaos was action packed and kept me turning pages way past midnight! There was always something exciting happening and I just couldn't wait to read it. A few surprises were in Chaos I wasn't expecting so I can't wait to read the next book. Carolina Mac with her son, David are writing together in the True Color series and it is a very successful adventure! I simply love everything they write. I highly recommend Chaos!
I have to say that the series that your son and you are writing is so good 👍. The way the 2 of you are writing is so flawless that I can not tell me difference in which is by which author. It is amazing. Keep up the excellent work. Thank you both for continuing to expand the world that you started so long ago Carolina.
I love her books and stories of tommy and potus are great. She has a lot of series and you get to know all the people best I have ever read I always have book with me.
When I started reading this I thought this wasn't going to be good as the others I read but boy was I wrong it was just as good as all the others I read! Thanks to Carolina and DK Mac!
I love this series. Watching Tommy slowly grow from a wild delinquent to a confident young man, still a little wild, has been a real treat. Each issue is such a great read. Can't wait to see what what's in store for young Thomas next.
