Anomalous physics, a cosmic game of dice, a mobile bookstore from an outer world. . . The Endless Walk is uniquely weighted with suggestions of the weird, while simultaneously connected to traditional elements of classic horror fiction. Rohit Sawant’s debut collection of short stories is flavorfully diverse, richly imagined, and certain to please both aficionados of weird fiction and readers of Stephen King alike.
Rohit Sawant is the author of The Endless Walk, a collection of stories published by Silent Motorist Media. His short fiction has been featured in the Shirley Jackson Award winning anthology The Twisted Book of Shadows, Weirdbook and elsewhere.
His career has been diverse in the field of entertainment media. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Animation and Computer Graphics, he honed his skills as a CG artist, contributing to animated features at Prana Studios, Inc., and later expanding his expertise as a VFX artist. Furthering his creative pursuits, he ventured into the realms of filmmaking and web work under the moniker "Rohit Arun Sawant."
He lives in Mumbai, India. He’s hardly active on social media and only posts occasionally.
A rich collection of tales from the place where weird fiction intersects with horror, The Endless Walk is filled with a variety of nightmarish realities, unforgettable images, and chilling omens. I much enjoyed the precise and vivid prose.
