While there was a lot to consider here, I think this would have felt different if I were currently mid- or recently post- loss. His other book (read during a couple of losses) felt life changing for me. I will be keeping this nearby and referring to it as needed in the future.
I read this as part of a Lent discussion group on loss and found it very helpful for thinking about loss in new ways. The chapters are short and I think lend themselves better to group discussion than solitary reading.
