Book five in the Turning Pages series of novels set in a bookshop that fosters shelter cats takes Kris, Mavis, Quaintance, Darla, Dev, and Lucille to a retreat in the early summer woods. What Kris encounters there could alter the course of his life—if he’ll let it. Questions from his past may finally have answers, but Kris resists coming to terms with them. He isn’t ready for a plot twist.
If you’d like a break from your daily grind, pack your bug repellant and join characters you’ve come to know and love at a lakeside retreat with famous folks and campfire nights.
In Plot Twist, you’ll encounter catastrophe while Katrina and Mack run the bookshop together. Mr. Catastrophe, that is, the newest foster cat to roam the book-filled rooms of No Page Unturned. Will this snaggle-toothed cataclysm find a new home? Will he balk at sharing space with Browser, Matt and Katrina’s terrier, while the dog recovers on the big, red sofa?

This was a wonderful series! The ending was a surprising way to wrap it up and left me in tears (happy ones and sad ones). I felt connected to the characters and loved following each of their lives (cats and dogs included!). I definitely recommend all the Turning Pages books:)

Totally awesome series Love, love, love radiates through this series. Read it from the start Shelve under C. C is for cat as yoh will discover. Adoption, fostering, animals, animals, animals, creative, talented people. Plus, BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS! There is the most beautiful epilogue to the series in this book. It explains what happens after you turn the last page. Highly, highly recommend! If you cry while reading, you'll need lots of tissues. Happy tears, for the most part.
Absolutely loved this storyline and all the interesting characters (feline, canine, and otherwise)!! It was a phenomenal ending to the series (??)!! So happy everyone got their happy ending. The best part was Buglit's letter at the end. It definitely brought tears to my eyes. This was an extremely interesting and heartwarming series. I enjoyed it so very much!!! And am somewhat sad it ended.😥
It didn't have the same pizzazz as the other books. I'm sure I'm not the only one who could see Liam was going to be Kriss's dad immediately, and the whole misplaced rage/fear thing and spending too much time on the future dragged the story down.
The cherry on top of the crap sundae was killing Buglit off at the end, even though there was no indication that she was old or in any way in bad health.
YUCKY!

I especially loved the ending of this book and hope when my time comes I will meet with all my beloved pets who have crossed the rainbow Bridge again. I was surprised that Kriss and Katrina weren't married but it was a good end
