About the Filled with detailed world building, martial arts action, multi-faceted characters, an overpowered but rational main character, magic and more, it's everything you love about cultivation yet with a fresh point a view!
The unique story continues on its strength while not getting boring. I was wondering whether the story will go towards world building or the action, and the action seems to be dominant, which I actually like. In fact, I find this book better than the last one, and I see the reviews also agree. Kudos to the author for not having a generic cliffhanger while leaving us hooked for the next book in the series. It was a banger, and the third book is eagerly awaited.
good book, needs more character development, and a bit short in length for my taste.
A well done book just like the first one in the series. A little too short for me and not enough character development. The MC is at the peak of his abilities, but doesn’t seem to have much of a personality. In my opinion. In fact, some of the side characters have more personality than the MC does. I did like the book and I will go on and read the next one.
All the waiting paid off and DE did not disappoint. The pacing was better than book one, and side characters POV blossomed without detracting from the pacing. Can’t wait for book 3.
I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.
