Childhood, those formative years, is a time for positive growth and development. However, for Maggie Reilly, it was a different story. Her parents were on the verge of divorce, her body shape was shamed, and her mind was abused. Despite these challenges, Maggie focused on her little brother and remained closely bonded. Unfortunately, the war left her brother a shell of his former self. Now, Maggie was determined to use her success and intelligence to help him and change the world. However, life is cruel, and the corporate world is ruthless. Maggie unleashed her creation, the Devil Fish, to enact her revenge. The journey is taken from the shores of Scituate, worldwide, to the South Pacific. Then, a twist brings the revenge tour to the California coast. It seems the Devil will have its day. Maggie will have her revenge, and no one will be prepared for the Devil Fish unleashed.

I grew up with a fascination for music, the arts, and writing. I joined the Army. I spent years as a studio musician, writer, and producer. The industry changed. I shifted my focus to writing. I watched as a fan the trend of repeat horror, and nothing unique is being offered. My writing is unique horror, far beyond the monster coming out of the dark and going back into the darkness for a sequel or another installment. My writing has varying degrees of gritty, erotic, horror and full of triggers. The idea is to provoke emotion and take the reader on a rollercoaster ride. The horror is only the surface. Beneath it are interpretive meanings and characters that sometimes reflect life and the horrors of reality.

Must read

This book is so much more than just about a sea creature. I feel bad for the main character and all she went thru that pushes her to get revenge. Just when you think you have it all figured out another twist in the story. I'm not a fan of horror books but this book kept me intrigued and wondering what was going to happen next.

This is awful

The writing is disjointed and lacking cohesion. Sentence structure is juvenile and the characters are flat and one dimensional. I want my money and time back!
