3.5 ⭐️

I came for Willow and Rafe and stayed for any glimpse of Dom and Thalia 🥹🥹 and for the Irish conflict 😂👀🤭.

It was better than the previous book, more balanced between the couple's relationship and the mafia plot.

A few things I didn't like:
- the entire MMF scene with Dom; why, why, why, why not anyone else, for example their other friend, the one with the knives (Luca); would have been the perfect choise for such a scene
- I have a huge issue with the heroine's age; she should have been older with at least a few years; I know she grew up in this environment, but still, she's only 18. Her behavior definitely doesn't match her age
- same thing is true for her brother; he's 16 years old, and the changes he went through in only 4 months were dubios and exaggerated, at least

The entire mafia plot developed interesting, I liked that part. I'm so done with this couple's story for now. It was a nice ride, but let's move on 🤭😂.

I need Dom and Thalia!!! RIGHT NOW! I have high expectations for them, even though, again, I hated that MMF scene with this book's couple. Was it hot!? Sure. But taking into consideration the promises he made to Thalia in their prequel.. it left me disappointed in him 😞😭😭.

What to expect:
- this is not a standalone; it's a second part of a duet, I would say
- no cliffhanger, but the series will continue. Let's hope with Dom and Thalia's story
- quite spicy, MF, MMF, MFF (the focus is always on Willow 😉)
- no OP drama, no cheating
- betrayals, twists, mafia drama, and action (TW for violence and mentions of SA)
- HEA, Epilogue

Fractured Vows is the second book in the Desecrated Love Trilogy, and just like the first book, Splintered Vows, it does not disappoint.

Willow, a mafia woman that has been taken advantage of by every man since her parents were murdered, decides that, even though she's married to the head of the Gallo Mafia, she needs to find herself, her independence, and revive her family's name in the mafia world, the Hernandez name that her uncle destroyed when he took over. Doing so requires her leaving Rafe, the head of the Gallo Mafia, her possessive and protective husband. Lets just say...nothing goes as planned, but when does it ever when you're in the underground crime world.

Rafe is infuriated and desperate when Willow walks away from their marriage to find herself, claim her independence, and bring honor to her family's name. He does everything in his power, including bringing the police to Willow's doorsteps, to try and bring Willow back home...or force her hand. Life is far from anything he thought it would be after getting married, becoming the head of his family's mafia, and conjoining two large crime families into one, if that's even possible.

In Fractured Vows, enemies are made, lies are discovered and truths are told, mysterious relationships become relevant, and truces are balancing on a very fine line between two major mafia families in the Rhode Island area.

Along with Willow and Rafe's intense story, Dom and Thalia's story is hinted to throughout the book, and as a reader, those Easter eggs really had me grabbing for more on Dom and Thalia. Willow and Rafe are the main characters, and I really love their growing love story. I'm looking forward to the third and final book. Rafe is the doting husband that is willing to meet Willow's every need - including her sexual fantasies that are a bit outside his comfort zone. Lets just say that Fractured Vows begins on a very spicy note with one of Willow's fantasies becoming a reality. It was EVERYTHING. Willow, being a very young wife and captivated with exploring everything regarding her family business and sexual fantasies, is also very much willing to be the submissive wife and partner that Rafe needs as a dominating character. I guess that is why they say, "Opposites attract." In Fractured Vows, Jade and Sofia aren't wrong.

This book is an interesting read. This is a dark disturbing story with many triggers but a story in which I found myself to be completely immersed in!! This is the second book of the Desecrated Love Trilogy. We got to see more into the marriage of Willow and Rafe. I like that in this story Rafe actually showed emotion during his POV which made me feel more connected to him as a character and the story. I found that I had highlighted a lot of points in this book and boy oh boy THE SPICE!!! I would like to thank Jade for allowing me the opportunity to ARC read this book I am grateful. *** This is a ARC Review and opinions about this book are 100% my own***

Willow and Rafe started off with a rocky relationship, forced into marriage. In this book we get a glimpse into life after the wedding and how they are still learning about each other. Willow has decided to step into her role as the head of her family after her uncle is killed. Rafe has to figure out how to support Willow while still protecting her at the same time. Watching their two worlds collide was epic, and I can't wait to see what other books we might get from this mafia world.

FRACTURED VOWS is the second instalment in the contemporary, adult DESECRATED LOVE erotic dark, Mafia romance trilogy set in the Gallo Mafia Empire, co-authored by Jade Marshall and Sofia Aves. This is the continuing story of eighteen year old Mafia princess Willow Hernandez, and twenty-eight year old, Mafia Don Raphael ‘Rafe’ Gallo. FRACTURED VOWS should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the events of book one SPLINTERED VOWS.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including graphic violence, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers. FRACTURED VOWS contains scenes of spanking, MFM, and MFF sexual situations.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Rafe and Willow) FRACTURED VOWS picks up after the events of book one . Willow is now married to Don Raphael ‘Rafe’ Gallo but our heroine is, herself, at the helm of her late father’s crime family, a position that should be ascended by her younger brother Roman. A series of betrayals, secrets, vengeance and murder threaten the tepid relationship between our story line couple, betrayals faced by several heads of the ruling crime families. With secrets of her own, Willow struggles with Rafe’s need to control, forcing our heroine to walk, leaving everything behind. What ensues is the ongoing and building relationship between Rafe and Willow, and the potential fall-out when the truth is revealed, and vengeance is taken out in blood and lives.

The world building continues to focus on the secrets that lay between our story line couple. Neither Rafe nor Willow is willing to reveal everything including the darkest corners that threaten their future or happily ever after, and in this , our couple find themselves in the direct line of fire. Betrayal comes from within, and Rafe is determined to protect the woman he loves.

The relationship between Rafe and Willow is a forced marriage in which our couple have fallen in love with one another but Rafe struggles to trust the woman he loves, a woman whose secrets are dark and disarming. The $ex scenes are erotic, and provocative including threesomes, and same sex scenarios (FF).

The secondary and supporting characters including Rafe’s sister Regina; his right hand man Dominic, and healer Thalia; security specialist Lady Sonja; Willow’s brother Roman, as well as the return of the head of the Irish mob Konnor Hennie, and his younger brother Devon. The requisite evil has many faces.

FRACTURED VOWS is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal, murder and vengeance, power and control, fractured family dynamic, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dark, dramatic and raw; the characters are powerful, charismatic and somewhat questionable; the romance is seductive and fated.

A match made in heaven that rains down hell! Ok so it took me longer than usual to finish this one, as I hadn't realized this was a sequel before getting this book. So I went back and read the first book: Shattered Vows first and WOW! I'm so happy that I did because there's so much plot and so many twists and turns that I surely would've been lost! About Rafe, he has his own demons and it's obvious that he and Willow don't know how to love. Nor do they know how to receive it...As an abuse survivor, I struggled to understand Rafe's physical actions at times and I'm not sure that his actions are realistic. The last thing a survivor needs is more abuse...And I'm not referring to the BDSM. Yet I couldn't bring myself to hate him or the idea of them together because they were just as addictive as they were toxic. Towards the end, there were sooo many twists to keep up with, often back-to-back. You didn't really have time to grasp everything that was taking place. I also didn't like the Dom "insertions" when Willow became friends with Thalia. He should've been off limits. Willow was extremely impulsive but she's also so traumatized so her choices can't be expected to be perfect. But I do think she and Rafe were made for one another. The highlight for me was Roman. My heart ached for him, and I'd LOVE it if he were given his own story after taking the reins. All in all, this was action packed! Sooo unbelievably HOT! 🥵 and filled with twists. There's nothing predictable about this read so if you're curious, Go for it! You're in for an adventure! This was an amazing mafia romance 💜🙌🏽

Part of the Desecrated Love Trilogy picking up where the first book leaves off so be prepared to now putting it down until the last page is turned so you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Willow and Rafe starting off wasn’t pretty a forced marriage do not always go as planned and theirs is no different. We get to see Rafe show emotions in this one towards his wife but they have a long ways to still come they are trying and after her uncle’s death she steps up to become the head of her family and he wants to trust her, support her, but above all he was to keep his wife safe especially in their world you learn early on that no one even those close you can’t be trusted. Now to add to his plate he is the head of the Gallow family but with his wife now running the Hernandez family after a very cruel, unforgiving, underhanded uncle with a goal to bring it back to the powerful family when her father ruled. But her husband knows she is in danger they were out to take her out but she refuse to listen to him, or in her words be controlled forgetting that he knows this world better than she does, can they come together because their lives depended on it, will they realize that joining their two families under one rule is a much better options, and where are they headed?

Fractured Vows is the 2nd Book of Desecrated Love Trilogy and Part of the Gallo Mafia Empire. This is Raphel and Willow's story. The 1st Book Splintered Vows and 2nd Book Fractured Vows are written wonderfully by Jade Marshall and Sofia Aves, together they are quite a team. Raphel Gallo twenty-eight is now the head of the Gallo Mafia Empire since the death of his father Armand Gallo. This is a responsibility Raphel never wanted, but now he is one of the most powerful men in the world. Raphel and Willow were in an arranged marriage to help their families be more powerful. These two characters fall hard for each other. The chemistry they have with each other is so intense like no other.
Willow is eighteen and when her Uncle dies this puts her as head of the Hernandez Family Business. Willow is growing and learning to stand up for herself and take charge of things. This book is full of suspense, drama, action, passion, love, steam and so much more. Such an exciting book that I would not want to put down.

This is a dark disturbing story with many triggers but a story that I found difficult to put down.
Armand Gallow is dead, his son Raphel (Rafe) is now, at twenty eight years of age, the head of the mighty Gallow mafia, one of the most powerful in the world, is he capable of leading it the way that his father had ?
Newly wed Rafe had one weakness in his life, his beautiful new wife, Willow, Willow and Rafe were forced into an arranged marriage, a marriage that neither wanted, Willow thought that she was leaving one cruel controlling man to live with another.
Rafe was infatuated with his new wife and soon loved her with a passion that was off the scale but he still demanded obedience, he still needed to control.
After her fathers death, Willows uncle took over the Hernandez mafia, he was savage, brutal and bloodthirsty but he was now dead.
Not wanting to be controlled or mistrusted any longer, Willow decided to take her rightful place at the head of the Hernandez mafia and return it to the powerful status that it had when her father was in charge.
Rafe was distraught, he knew that Willows life was in danger, how could he protect her when she wouldn't be controlled, when she wouldn't obey, how could they lead two powerful dynasties and still be together, how could they live without the passion that they both thrived on..
Another powerful book in the Desecrated Love Trilogy.
I received a free ARC for this book and my review is voluntary.

Phew… where to begin?
First of all, this is book two out of three. I am not super fond of cliffhangers (ok, I hate them) but again, the authors manage to semi-conclude the action and it doesn’t really have a cliffhanger. I struggle however to keep my stamina up for three books. My bad, I know. Most people love series, trilogies etc.
The tempo from book one never lessens and at times I almost got whiplash. It does subtract a little from the overall story and this book loses a star because of it. I felt like I was back on the zigzagging mountain roads of Central America again. The trip is thrilling and beautiful but just a little too unpredictable to entirely enjoy.
That being said, the dark romance is really amped up in this book and definitely ventures into the BDSM universe and the 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ are rampant throughout the story. I forget that Willow is only 18 when reading because she has taken a gigantic growth spurt but I think that’s a good thing because otherwise I’d feel like she was too young to go through so much.
The tropes are generous from a revolving enemies to lovers theme to fated mates, miscommunication, touch her and die and he falls first.
The background mafia story is good and bloody - just as it should be!.

Fractured Vows by Jade Marshall and Sofia Aves

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫/🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

✅ Mafia
✅ Badass FMC
✅ Possessive MMC
✅ Secrets and Lies

TW: Domestic Abuse, Torture, Death, Murder.

K!nks: MFM, DVP, ⚔️ Crossing, Forced Urination, Spanking, Humiliation, A** Play, Praise, Degradation, Public S*x, Improper Use of a Pulpit, Breeding, Funishments, Squirting, FFM.

Picking up where we left off in book 1, Willow and Rafe are in Cyprus for a funeral. The spice hits right away, which I love! Throughout this book Willow and Rafe adjust to married life but not in the normal way. More in a ‘we’re both heads of different crime families’ way. It’s a really interesting dynamic that contrasts the behind-doors Dom/sub relationship they have. Lives are lost and traded. Love is lost and found again. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to see where the third book takes us!

Thank you Jade Marshall and Sofia Aves for an ARC of this book. My review is mine and freely given!

I have been looking forward to book 2 in the Desecrated Love Trilogy. Fractured Vows, part of the Gallo Mafia Empire, continues our dark mafia romance story and is completely consuming. I really love getting deep into Willow and Rafe’s marriage. Their relationship is turbulent and volatile. Fluctuating from passionate happy highs to miserable heartbreaking lows, they both need to learn to adjust to the others wants and needs in order for them to grow as a power couple. Looming danger adds layers of intensity to their story. Rafe is consumed with wanting to protect his family which is no easy task since his wife has an unruly mind of her own. Intense passionate emotional growth by both allows the relationship to evolve in a way to benefit each other and their family dynamic. Their inferno of spicy goodnesses is written perfectly. This king and his queen have one intense roller coaster ride and I recommend this fast spicy action packed romance.

Sofia and Jade definitely upped the spice in this book.
A short read that leaves you wanting to jump into the next book!
A continuation from the first book, this definitely takes some twists and turns.
With Willow finding her new self without being controlled by men in her life anymore she steps out from rafe only to have the sh$t hit the fan in several ways.
Rafe unknowingly finds out the truth behind willows history in this book with a plot twist i definitely did not expect.

In this book you also get further relationship building between Dom and Thalia with more pieces falling into place there also..

I am definitely hoping for the next book to come soon because this series is definitely worth reading!!

Fractured Vows is book 2 of the Desecrated Love Trilogy. It's the deliciously dark continuation of Rafe and Willows story. It's an intense, intriguing, dramatic story and of course Rafe and Willow are incredible. They're the ultimate power couple. Rafe, Head of the Gallo Mafia and Willow taking over as Head of the Hernandez Mafia, they're untouchable! Or are they? Willow is freakin FIERCE and Rafe is the over the top HOT alpha, the perfect King and his Queen. I can't recommend their story enough. It's one heckuva journey!
Remember it's a dark story so check the trigger warnings before indulging. It also ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the rest of their story!

Rafe and Willow continue their journey in this mafiaesque love story.

Raphael Gallo, head of the Gallo empire, ruthless, demanding, possessive, finds himself with more than he bargained for with his wife, Willow. Sexy, submissive Willow has her own agenda and in acting it out causes more problems for Rafe.

This gritty, and sometimes violent story, takes you on this husband and wife's journey through some good and bad times. Rafe shows he does have a heart and Willow learns just how much she needs Rafe. There's plenty of action and spice in this well written second in the series.

So good! I read the first novel in this series and I could hardly wait for the next novel to be published. It was so worth the wait. I love a good mafia romance with a possessive, protective and obsessed hero. Rafe was all that and more. I loved Willow, she was such a strong female heroine. I loved how this novel picked right up at the end of the other. I loved Willow and Rafe together. I loved their chemistry. It was so good. I loved watching them fall in love with each other. I could hardly put this novel down because I needed to know what was coming next. So good! I can't wait to see what this author has coming next.

This is the second part of part of the Gallio mafia empire, and I’ve got to say I read Savage covenant and I was really taken aback, by Dom taking part in a threesome with his best friend and his wife, and I think it just put a spin on it for me because I didn’t really overly enjoy this book, but I think it’s because I saw Dom be so caring, so understanding so patient with Thalia and then that’s straight off, so I’m gonna give it four stars because I really enjoy this author but for me I was just a little bit put off by the previous book.

Rafe and Willow are both from crime families and are forced to be wed.
Rafe is getting so much more then he or anyone else bargained for. Willow isn’t just a bargaining chip, she is the whole silent killer, who will smile to your face and then slit your throat.
Together both Rafe and Willow, along with other members of the crime families in the area, they are taking care of the problems that are causing trouble for them all.
Along the way they all make Willow the Queen and she rules thur blood, physical activity and finally loyalty.

This is the second book in the trilogy and has all the spice, angst, heartbreak and drama!!! Both authors have created a wonderfully dark and scorching hot spice. This is the second book in this phenomenal trilogy, and Rafe is determined to find Willow and bring her home.
This is a well written story which is action packed, and has family, friendships, drama, emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, trust, obsession, determination, lies, secrets, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and steamy addictive page turner.
I cannot wait to read the conclusion!!

First up, if you have triggers, read the list.

Willow has been through a lot. First with her parents passing, then her uncle abuse, and now her husband Rafe. She wanted to be her own independent woman and do things for herself. Little did she know, the mafia world had other things in store for her.

Rafe just wanted his woman. He was in love with her, but keeps messing things up. He struggles to fix it, fix himself and in turn show her he loves her.

This was a lot in this book, but it was a great read.

This is the second book of the Desecrated Love Trilogy. We got to see more into the marriage of Willow and Rafe. Rafe is protective of Willow and worries about her. He especially worries because now she has taken over for her uncle as the head of the family. This puts a target on her back and causes Rafe to worry. It was good to read about their relationship development over this book. This sets us up for book three which I am sure will go out with a bang.

This book is an interesting read if you love to read about the mafia & dark topics. The characters are very complex & I don't know if I want to like them or hate them but I couldn't stop reading! I did go back & reread the first book again to refresh myself on the characters but that isn't necessary to enjoy this book. I can't wait to see how this trilogy concludes!

Rafe and Willow are quite a pair. She has brown into her role as his wife as the story goes. When she stands up to his Aunt as well as to him at times. But then goes off on her own and he goes after his wfe. This had twists, some sexy times, Rafe was a husband that loved his loved. He allowed her to have her experiences and shared them. I loved Dom he was loyal but still wanted to keep his promise to Thalia.

Rafe and Willow are back home after the funeral in Cypress. As Willow wants, Rafe and Dom use a room at Rafe's club to do what they want to Willow's body. Soon, Willow leaves to attempt to restart the Hernandez family, which starts a chain reaction of death. This story is full of violence and rough sex, ending happily. Very highly recommended.

Rafe and Willow’s story continues in Fractured Vows book 2 in the Desecrated Love Trilogy. The characters continue to develop, the storyline is well-paced, and there certainly is darkness, sizzle, steam, action, drama, and more. A surprising threesome (or 2???). Where is book 3? I need it, now!!.
