About the author

James Stafford writes fiction and non-fiction.

In 2017 his collection of short comics, The Sorrowful Putto of Prague (Truchlivý amoret pražský), was published to critical acclaim in the Czech Republic - even drawing praise from Hollywood legend Samuel L. Jackson.

Founder of cult rugby website The East Terrace, Stafford is the author of two Amazon Best Sellers on Welsh rugby: 'An Illustrated History of Welsh Rugby: Fun, Facts and Stories from 140 Years of International Rugby' and children's book 'How Wales Beat the Mighty All Blacks'.

He has written on rugby for publications such as The Daily Telegraph, Irish Independent, Metro, ESPN Scrum.com, Rugby World, South Wales Evening Post and Rugby (Journal), as well as penning pieces for official match programmes for Leinster and the British & Irish Lions.

He lives in Prague.

An enjoyable read, giving an entertaining history of the ups and downs of Welsh Rugby.

Well worth a read.
